Summary: Esta buena la pelicula
Review: Hay que ver la pelicula en ingles con letras en español. Las voces son bien chistosas, y las letras si son exactas. La pelicula se trata de un ogre que vive solo en una cíenaga hasta un dia en que vienen las "criaturas de los cuentos de hadas" porque son exilados. Entonces el ogre y un burro que habla van a un castillo pa negociar con el rey pa que el ogre tiene su cíenaga de nuevo. Entonces es cuando el rey le manda a un lugar pa batallar contra un dragón(una dragóna mas bien)y rescatar a una princesa....no quiero decir mas sino que es una buena pelicula pa los adultos tal como los niños mayores.

Summary: PARENT'S BEWARE!!!
Review: While my husband and I both really enjoyed this movie, there was some foul language that I think that a children's movie can do without. My two-year old didn't catch the undertones and language and really loved the movie but if you have an older child, I am sure that they will pick up on some of this.Other than that, I thought that it was a great movie and had a good message. Just rent with caution. This is rated PG not G.

Summary: Fable-ulous Fun!
Review: Shrek is a neatly packaged fable, great fun for the whole family (unless you're squeamish about muted potty humor). The animation seems so real at times, it's difficult to believe that scenes were entirely virtual. Technical marvels don't make a great movie, however. Fortunately, Shrek has plenty of soul. Myers & Murphy play well off each other, bringing to life a fable about love, integrity, and acceptance. Hard to imagine a more enjoyable picture. Earns every one of its five stars. Summary: Be scared, Disney. Be very very SCARED.
Review: This movie has definitely proven that Disney is no longer the king on top of the animation film genre. The digital animation studio PDI and Dreamworks have certainly earned that spot with "Shrek". In terms of quality, story, believable characters, humor, and the mind-blowing, eye-popping CG-animation, "Shrek" has surpassed Disney & Pixar a million times over. Just take a look at their latest release "Monsters Inc." Although "Monsters Inc." is not a bad film, my own kids still chose to watch "Shrek" over again after watching "Monsters Inc". And as an adult, if I had to make a choice between watching "Monsters Inc" or "Shrek" in the theater again, I'd honestly pick "Shrek". Maybe its the "magic" about it, but I just can't seem to get tired of watching it over again everytime my kids pop the dvd in the player. I just keep getting amazed by the animation and keep laughing at all the jokes over again. Believe me, the movie is THAT GOOD. As a final word, I can definitely say "Shrek" is next year's Oscar winner for best animated film. You just mark my words.

Summary: Brilliant parody of Disney classics!
Review: The animation, to begin with, was simply awesome. Yes, the details of Shrek and the donkey are remarkable, but even more amazing is how Dreamworks accomplished such a striking resemblance between the animated characters and their human voices counterparts. It is easily one of the funniest movie of its genre up there with Disney's "Toy Story," "The Emperor's New Groove" and now with "Monsters, Inc." Ironically enough, a large part of the fun you can have is directly tied to the parody the movie makes of Disney classic fairy tales such as "Snow White" and "Cinderella". Not that it's a slight detail: it's hard not to notice it, but it is highly enjoyable. In addition to this, there is a very original combination of contemporary pop/rock tunes with the scenes of the movie which takes it out of the traditional fairy tale genre. All in all, even with the totally predictable ending (who cares, after all -it's a fairy tale!) I give it five stars.

Summary: SHREK is excellent!
Review: Well, I finally saw SHREK. Let me tell you, I'm not too keen on animated films but SHREK is an exception. It is a totally awesome movie. The plot is great, the amimation is top notch, and it's hilarious. Mike Myers (Shrek), Eddie Murphy (Donkey), and Camron Diaz (Fiona) are a perfect fit for this film. Their voices are superb for the characters that they portray. The storyline basically goes like this: Shreck has to rescue a princess in order to have his home restored. SHRECK is also loaded with jokes and a few surprise cameos from fimiliar characters. Get the DVD version 'cause it comes packed with some great bonus stuff. I don't want to give anymore away so check it out for yourselves. SHREK is an awesome film that will keep you entertained.

Summary: Great Movie Great DVD what else do you need.
Review: Shrek is absolutly hilarious. I laughed over and over again. Made from the creaters of ANTZ which was also a great film. Shrek made fun of several fariy tales it a funny and smart way. Shrek also has great computer animation. Not quite as good as Final Fantesy but better than any animated film that came before it. Shrek has a great DVD to go along with the movie. Id say Shrek is the greatest DVD of all time. It has an extended ending with all the charactors singing hit songs. It has one of the cleanest digital to digital transfers I have ever seen. Fullscreen and animorphic widscreen. Great sound too. Shrek also has funny interviews with the charactors that are worth watching. Two good making of documentarys tell how the film was made. An intresting audio commentary from the filmakers is included in the widscreen version. My favorite special feature is the abilty to add your own vocie to the charactors. An amazing feature, first of its kind. Buy this movie the price is right no reason not to buy it.

Summary: do YOU know the muffin man?
Review: This is really a must see movie! Its both cute and exciting, and will be enjoyed not just by kids, but people of all ages. At times it is hilariously funny, the characters are individual, interesting, quirky and memorable...the whole muffin man scene still makes me laugh after watching it over and over again. This is a movie not to be missed.
