Summary: Terrific animation, character development
Review: I applaud Jeffrey Katzenberg & Dreamworks for making this movie. The insight into the characters was refreshing and the animation was spectacular. I am so grateful to see the amazing talents of the animators directed toward giving us a sense of the glory and awesomeness of God. I am so tired of seeing such talent wasted on glorifying the occult, the crude and the just plain evil.

Review: Am I the only one who thinks this movie is not appropriate for a child? I do not want my son to fear God and think it is ok to kill in his name. That some people are good because they believe in him and other are not and have to be eliminated because they do not? I have never cried more seeing a film than this one and find it to be exactly what I do not want my child to see.

Review: One of the most enjoyable animations I've ever seen. Songs good and not too ethnic, just dated with the 90's warble. Besides that, though incredibly imaginative and artistic production.

Review: Wow!!! The movie was very moving. Everything seemed so real and I really felt it with my heart. I did cry, and as I watched the movie, I was able to feel the pain of the Israelites, the fear of the Egyptians and the strength of God. If I could go back in time to experience miracles of God, it would have been during that time. (Appropriate for the very young and the very young at heart).

Review: I have been very impressed with Dreamworks Prince of Egypt. While not entirely biblically accurate, it attempts to tell the "story behind the story", and will no doubt lead many to read the account in Exodus. I found the music and the animation to be first rate, the music adding to, but not interfering with, the story. The parting of the Red Sea is awe-inspiring. I also appreciated the depth given to the characters--more so, I think, than the Cecil B. DeMille production. No doubt the inaccuracies and the somewhat frightening scenes (the murder of the children and the death of the firstborn) will disturb some parents, which is why you should watch this with your children and discuss those things. However, a movie with no sex, no profanity, and no gratuitous violence is a thing to be treasured these days. I've seen this movie 4 times, and with each viewing, I find things I missed before. This is a tremendous story of love, humanity, and faith, not to be missed. Can't wait to own it!

Summary: Stop complaining unless you buy this video
Review: Okay, so it doesn't follow every single word of the Biblical text from the Old Testament. But Katzenberg made the effort, and what a glorious effort!!!A respect for G-d, treating Moses as a real person, the expense and richness of the animation...Those who won't support this offering will assure that nothing like it ever gets done again. I understand that a project to do the story of Joseph has been put on hold because Dreamworks was disappointed with the ticket sales of PRINCE OF EGYPT. He thought people were serious when they complained about a lack of respect for family and religion at the box office. Now he feels he was wrong. PROVE HIM WRONG FOLKS. BUY THIS VIDEO!!!

Summary: Inspirational Story!
Review: You'll forget that this movie is a cartoon after about 15 seconds! It is a wonderful telling of the story of the Exodus and the plight of the Jewish people. This movie may be a little too intense for younger viewers but generally is a great story for the entire family to experience.

Review: When i saw this movie i thought it was the most dazzling,non-worldly movie.I glad that they have finally come up with a good movie.I can't believe the way some of these people are saying that Tarzan and Mulan are better than this movie.NOT by a long shot!My favorite person in this movie was Moses.I am planning on seeing Dreamworks," The road to El Dorado and "Chicken Run".The Prince of Egypt is a wonderful movie and is great for the whole family. I bought this movie and i am planning on buying the soundtrack.The graphics in this movie is AMAZING. I RECOMMEND buying this movie.
