Summary: My favorite DVD so Far
Review: We ordered this as a result of a review I read. This is by far my favorite kids learning video! My daughter just turned two and has been enjoying it for about a year. She has learned so very much from this. Shapes, numbers and ABC's. One day out of the blue, she counted to ten! A couple of weeks later, she receited her ABc's and I believe that this one video had the greatest impact on this learning. Plus , it is enjoyable for adults to watch/listen to. Songs are sweet and melodies are pleasant.

Summary: Great content, but terrible value for money
Review: We've recently bought a DVD player, mainly to get English-language educational material for our 2 year old (we live in Taiwan). Compared to some of the other DVDs/VCDs that we have bought, this one has great content; our boy is glued to it.However, the whole DVD from start to finish, is only 21 minutes long. This is a huge disappointment, as they could easily have fitted 3 episodes on the DVD (as "Bear in the Blue House" does). Also, no subtitles and no additional material at all. Really *very* poor value for money.

Summary: My daughter's favorite video
Review: Who knows what magical combination of elements results in a child liking a video? I sure don't. But since my daughter liked Richard Scarry's books, we gave her this video for Christmas, and she's been going nuts over watching Huckle and his friends ever since. Don't be put off by the "rinky-dink" production style (we're not talking Disney studio here)and the simple actions of the characters--this live-action version of Scarry's characters has my two-year old (and her friends) captivated. What's more, the voices and melodies are not too annoying for adults.
