Review: As good as the movie was, I found the songs to be a disappointment. I left the theater without a single song remaining in my mind. The story, though, was well executed, with beautiful animation. Disney's putting the original poem on their website was also a plus (pity they removed it).

Summary: Fantastic, inspirational, and thought provoking!
Review: This movie was about a girl who goes against society, dares to be herself and saves her familys pride. Mulan is more than a animated movie it's a lesson in life. It teaches children, and adults, to not always follow the crowd but to be true yourself and and have pride abut yorself. This movie was time and money well spent.

Summary: Good choice, Disney!
Review: Mulan is a brave and loyal herione, who sends a good message of honor and love of country and family to young audiences. In comparison to other Disney movies the songs were not quite as catchy, with the expception of "Be a Man", which is accompanied by a great visual sequence. The animation makes up for the songs, particularly the battle sceen, and the black and red burned village, absolutly striking!The last two mintues were definetly a dissapointing end to this touching and amusing animation.

Review: This is definitely the Best Movie of 1998. It makes you (me) laugh; it makes you (me) cry. I did not see it in the theater, thinking that it might not be as well-done as the recent Disney movies. Oh, what a surprise! I will watch it again and again.

Review: "MULAN", the tale of one girl's battle not only with the fierce Huns and a male dominant civilization, but also with herself, is by far the best animated film since Disney's "Sleeping Beauty" and "The Lion King". Mulan reflects the courage that we look for and the strength that we strive for in the world today. I felt a deep kinship with her as she faced her village, her father, and her peers in a subservient manner, but later rebelled because of her convictions. Along her journey in life, though, she discovers what truly matters to her--her own self-worth--and proves to everyone that she is different. A definite must-see for families and those who seek happiness within themselves. We can all learn a great deal from the Chinese maiden who was determined to follow her heart, no matter where it would take her.
