Summary: Take yourself back to your own "olden" days.
Review: Here is your chance to show your kids what you were watching back when you were a kid. And it also gives you a perfect excuse to relive the magic yourself. Transformers, along with He-Man and ThunderCats, was a staple in many young kids' lives growing up in the early to mid-Eighties. Don't let yourself forget what your childhood was like. Endulge yourself and watch Transformers again.

Summary: Parents, keep your children away!
Review: My child attempted to transform into a semi truck like the much lauded "Optimus Prime." He has not been able to stand up straight since 1986. It was weeks before we were able to detach the trailer. The Transformers are more than meets the eye, they are a disaster in disguise.

Summary: Some of the best animation I've ever seen
Review: I saw Transformers: The Movie in the theatre when I was a boy. I liked the show and liked the big screen adaptation, just as much, if not more. It's worth seeing; young or old.

Summary: It was awesome. No Transformers after was that cool.
Review: It was the best Transformers ever. I liked all the new Transformers, even the ones that changed but are still the same in many ways. Everyone should give this movie a watch. It's just plain good old fun and enjoyable. So watch it!

Summary: This movie Rocks!
Review: This movie ROCKS! I am a fan of the Original Transformers. Forget about Beast Wars (cheap RIP-OFF! of a great animated Epic of the 80's; with low character development, and untalented voice-overs, not worthy to have the Transformers' name. Forget about Pokemon you "ankle-biters"(those kids who never experienced the original Transformers). The TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE HAS IT ALL. It has Plot, G vs E. It has a Moral," Believe and you shall overcome", corny but true. It's an Emotional Rollercoaster ride. And it has Great Animation. My only gripe is that it excluded several characters from the series (i.e. Omega Supreme, etc). Get the Movie and reminisce about your childhood. On a related topic, I wish all the Episodes of the orginal series were released on DVD.

Summary: Transformers at its original best with rock and style
Review: This film's a classic for anyone who ever bought either the decent metal Transformers or the more disappointing plastic ones. The animation, although poor by Manga standards whips the old TV series and the soundtrack is great fun. Clashes heavily with the UK Transformers comic, but its still great to watch, particularly for the voices of Leonard Nimoy and Orson Welles. Buy it, get wasted, love it. This is a nostalgia piece for twenty-somethings- most kids now hate it!

Summary: THIS MOVIE MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS 12 YEARS OLD AGAIN.
Review: IF YOU EVER WERE A FAN OF THE TRANSFORMER TV SHOW IN THE MID 80'S YOU WILL REKINDLE YOUR CHILDHOOD AS YOU WATCH OPTIMUS PRIME PASS THE TORCH TO A YOUNG AND UNQUALIFIED HOT ROD WHO FILLS THE VOID RATHER WELL. MEGATRON AND ALL YOUR OTHER FAVORITES ARE IN IT AS WELL

Summary: The best movie ever
Review: The transformers series, movie, and toy line will always be the best ever, and it is a mystery to me why they ever changed it into the stupid new beast wars. Transformers forever! (By the way in the review by Jeremy Storey above, it's obvious that he's never seen transformers in his life. He was obviously paid to write down some jibberish. He wrote that Soundwave accompanied the autobots led by Optimus Prime, when in reality Soundwave was a loyal servant to Megatron, and was in fact a decepticon).

Summary: IN 1986, THE TRANSFORMERS MADE TO THE BIG SCREEN!
Review: TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE had the best art in all THE TRANSFORMERS' animated continuity. It even had a really cool soundtrack to boot! I'm 29 years old now, and--since 1993--have watched TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE 17 times! In August 1986 (I had just turned 16 years of age at that time!), TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE was released in American theaters. But, unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to see it at that time. Seven years later (in 1993, at the age of 23), however, I FINALLY got to see TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE in its entirety. And since then, I've watched it 17 times. Yes, I really liked it--and recommend it to any Transfomers fan. So far, it was the only movie to feature everyone's favorite ROBOTS IN DIGUISE--the TRANSFORMERS!

Summary: Transformers: The Movie
Review: Transformers: The Movie was for me the "passing of the torch" from the original transformers to the new transformers (i.e. Optimus Prime to Rodimus Prime and Megatron to Galvatron) The Unicron idea was really cool. You could think of him as the original "bad guy" and the first transformer. This film is a truly outstanding piece of work and since i've been a huge Transformers fan for many years, this movie is the pinnicle of the whole Transformers craze.
