Review: I first saw this show with my little cousin and I think I found it funnier than she did! This show is great for kids and adults alike. SpongeBob is just an innocent little sponge that wants to be friends with everyone and doesn't have a mean bone in his body...after all he is a sponge. I am suprised how entertaining this cartoon is. It sort of harkens back to the old Loony Toons cartoons. The DVD is packed with 40 episodes of SpongeBob mahem. There is a "Play All" option although I don't believe any full grown adult could sit through 40 staight episodes of SpongeBob. There are a few little behind the scenes features that are pretty interesting. The Violent Femmes promo is a suprising yet appreciated extra. I took a star off for the lack of commentaries. The segments are only 15-20 minutes long, they could have had more commentaries than two. Overall, it is a nice little DVD set that is a must for the SpongeBob fans.

Review: So sad that I bought the other DVDs that contain only 10 episodes and they were very random in terms of season. Anyways, even though the price was kinda pricey, but the dvds were very worth every penny.

Review: okay this dvd is very good.most episodes are good. encluding F.U.N. the 3rd disc in my opinion is the best.the first disc is abot 2 hours and 56 minutes except one thing it does not have the episode help wanted as ...and help wanted is one of the best episodes of the first season. disc 2 is about 3 hours and 4 minutes and is very good. disc 3 is about 95 minutes [not including bounus features].the bonus peatures on this dvd are very good just one thing. the comminteres are not on every episode only on 2 episodes which are plankton [on disc 1] and karate choppers [on disc 2]. the reason i gave this set 4 stars is 1 help wanted is not on it. 2 it needs just a little more cast commenteres and 3 it dosent have all my favorite episodes BUT WHO CARES! if you are a spongbob fan buy this dvd now it has a very reasonable price and is fun for the whole family

Summary: Paramount and Viacom = Cheap DVDs for a fast buck....
Review: One of the drawbacks to buying this DVD boxed set is that many of the shows are already available on one disk editions that Paramount has put out in the last two years. What's the point on buying this boxed set if you have already bought the earlier SpounpeBOB DVD disks that have many of the same shows already on them? Better off just tapeing the shows when they are on TV, for a much lesser price, and just buying movies on DVD, because movies and DVD go together much better then TV shows do.

Review: Every since this hit tv show came out on Nickelodeon in 1999 I have been asking myself for more spongebob. I finally get it with the first season of spongebob. I am fifteen and I love spongebob. I watch it on TV all the time. I will never get tired of it. If you want a good quality show buy Spongebob Squarepants: The Complete First Season. I hope for Season 2 and 3 will come out pretty soon!

{I just wish that I knew they were making these sets before I bought all those 15-dollar DVDs.}
