Summary: It Truly - Truly Outrageous!
Review: All I have to say is wow! (...) It like totally awesome, and rad and stuff. Sorry reverting back to childhood there. I could hardly wait to see this released on DVD and when I could finally get it I was so happy! Just watching it made me flashback to being 10 and sitting in the my den on Sunday Morning eating my ceral and watching Jem. I am so glad to see that its making a come back of sorts. I recomend this to everyone.
The crispness of the video, is so much better than I remember ( cable was still in it infantcy and we didn't have all of the fancy TV's)
The 2nd thing thats enjoyable is Christy Marx's commentary on a few of the episodes. Not to mention a interview with her and Jem/Jerrica's voice actress Samantha Newark.
Highly recomend to every who is an 80's child

Summary: Big Hair Rules
Review: All I can say is ......wow!!!! Thank you Rhino for realizing there are Jem fans out there who still love to see it. I miss the 80's what a way to reminisce. I want the big hair back!!!!! I dressed up every Halloween as a different Hologram every year. Seeing and hearing Jem on DVD is truly outrageous. The picture is just amazing , I never saw it on my television growing up look that brilliant. The sound is brilliant, watching it on my home theater system was alot of fun too. I could hear things pass around my living room, feel things blow up, and even feel like I was part of Synergy, with her beeping around my head. Then I watched the music videos, I could believe all the videos were seperate and you could watch each one with the surround sound. It felt like you were actually at a Jem & the Holograms concert with the Misfits opening. I truly truly hope that Rhino is outrageous and rereleases the remaing 39 episodes in another boxset.

Summary: Jem Sparkles!
Review: This is a truly outrageous release! It has brought back fond memories of my childhood and the time I spent following the adventures of the Holograms and those nasty Misfits.
Sadly, Rio is still a wimp but his hair is more vibrant and purple than ever. It's amazing that the crew that remastered the picture and sound could locate and restore all of those old originals. The attention to detail from the clarity and colors of the picture to the nuances and fidelity of the sound is truly truly amazing. The ability to watch just the music videos only and in 5.1 sound is like almost seeing and hearing them live. Crank it up and the room shakes, now I know why we invested so much money in our home theater system, it was worth it! I could swear that in episode 22 "Intrigue at the INDY 500" that a race car passed over my head! In episode 7 "In Stitches" the gondola chase was also spectacular in 5.1. Please release the remaining 39 episodes!

Review: I never watched Jem when it aired. I'm a guy. I watched GI Joe. In fact, I never heard of Jem until I was 21, and my current girlfriend mentioned it. Once I found that the show had been released to DVD, I immediately purchased it for her. The quality of the set is just amazing. Rhino really knows how to make quality DVD box sets. If you are a Jem fan, you won't be disappointed. Just remember how the box folds together. It can be a bit confusing otherwise. Rock on Holograms!

Review: I love Jem. And I was so happy to find out it was coming to DVD because most of the tapes have been discontinued.
Everyone should buy it so that the rest of the seasons can be released.My only complaint is the box art. The cover is fine, but the drawings inside look horrible. They look badly traced with wobbly lines and bizarre facial expressions. I hope they next set looks better.

Review: As anyone who remembers the cartoon will tell you, the tunes were catchy, the clothes outragous, and the charaters unforgettable. But why by this DVD collection? Well, for starters, the sound has been vamped up and you can listen in stereo or better!! There is also a feature that plays all the videos, without the shows--which are now in the viberant colors the artist intended. There is an excerpt of the Jem Bible, which really brought another level to the show, knowing where the characters are coming from. (and hints to where they may have gone, had the show not been canceled). I can hardly wait for the next set!

Review: Amazing collection of episodes!!! These collection brought so many happy memories. The packaging is awesome!!! and I love the feature where you can just play the songs. I sat for a whole day watching the 4 dvd's, I couldn't stop myself. Hoping for a second dvd collection, they are so many episodes left!!! Loving Jem & the Holograms Forever!!

Summary: WHAT? JEM IS OUT ON DVD!
Review: Right now I'm really getting annoyed. Fair enough this DVD is probobaly worth more than one star, but I'm not going to buy it.
What are all you companies playing at. There were so many 80's cartoons, and so many of them were better than this. Get Captain N out, get Thundercats out, get the original Ninja Turtles out, get the original Inspector Gadget out, get Wowser out, get Galaxy High out, get Sharky and George out, get The Real Ghostbusters out!
There are a whole bunch more that deserve a DVD release far more than Jem does, so what are you waiting for.

No offence to all those Jem fans out there. I like Jem, It's just that there are so many better 80's cartoons out there that I am itching to get hold of.

Review: I never watched this show as a young tyke. In fact, I never heard of this show as a young lad. I am a guy. I watched GI Joe and what-not. Anyways, I bought this for my girlfriend, whom used to watch this show in your younger days. The boxset is magnificiently put together! Although pay attention to how it unfolds the first time, as it can be confusing. So anyways, if you were a fan of this show, definately buy it. You won't be disappointed.
