Summary: one of the worst live action disney movie to date!!
Review: this movie is based loosly on the series of the same name.Other than that it is almost like watching disney current live action movie in theaters now. It suffers from "Jar Jat Binks Sydrome"( in other person or thing that totally does nothying for the story) . In the case it is the suit the martian (Chrstopher Lloyd) wears!!after 5 minutes on screen ,i wanted to get rid of it.This movie is ok for teenagers ,but has nudity, innuedo and other sexual things!!just because it is Disney it is not always a g or pg movie!!maybe the general public should checking the disney network(aka ABC!!!) to see how disney is now just not making family fare anymore!!What is with the deal with "My favorite Martians-Double feature" on the DVD!!!?

Summary: Just Plain Bad
Review: This was one of or the worst movies I have seen in years. It was just stupid after stupid to the end. I am a huge fan of Jeff Danials, Christopher Lloyd, and Disney but this movie was bad. There was no real plot and the characters just acted stupid and did dumb things. Don't waste your money and time watching something which should have never have been realsed in the first place!

Summary: Move over Invaders. This is the real story.
Review: Usually with a remake you either loose some of the original zing or regardless of how good it is just not the same (nostalgia factor). Well this time you are in for a treat. The original was improved on and it is a positive exaggeration of the TV program. I am not sure that a talking suit really adds to the movie. However it does not distract.

All the original characters are in the movie and some added characters to round it off. I appreciated the method used buy Coleye (Wallace Shawn) to test for alien residue. By the way if his first name was Ernest, he could be "E. Coleye." Jeff Daniels made a believable Tim O'Hara. And it was a nice touch to put the late Ray Walston (the original Martian) in this picture as the investigator.

This film is a laugh a minute and so realistic. They must have hired Dave Barry for their science advisor. Sharon 'Mae' West the real script supervisor also was script supervisor for "Twin Peaks" (1990) If you do not see this movie to the very end you will miss the whole point.
