Rating: Summary: More Great Filling for CCS Review: First of all, I was a person who watched Cardcaptors before watching Card Captor Sakura. I absolutely fell in luv with CCS after watching one episode. The music and animation are excellent and nicely fit the atmosphere of the show. CCS is targeted at girls, but I believe that boys will enjoy it too. I think they will enjoy the adventures of Sakura-chan, along with her guardian beast Kero-chan and her best friend/costume designer/magical girl posing coordinator Tomoyo-chan.The first episode on the DVD is "Sakura, Panda, and the Cute Shop." Sakura and Tomoyo collaborate together to try and stop the Jump card, who resembles a pink plushie ^^.... Next is "Sakura and the Memory of her Mother." The card highlighted is the Illusion card. I think this episode really shows how much Sakura really cares about her mother Nadeshiko-san and how much she never really got to know her. Touching ^^;;;; The third episode is "Sakura's First Attempt as a Thief" is interesting and shows how Sakura smartly handles the situation when the Silent card continually transports them to the same place. The last episode is "Sakura's Rival Appears." Li Syaoran makes his entrance as the not so kind rival of Sakura, but he unwilling gives advice. Also he scoffs at Kero-chan resulting in a finger bite by Kero-chan!!!!
Rating: Summary: YOU WILL BE HOOKED! Review: I am not a Clamp fan, however, their Card Captor Sakura has me entranced!! You will want to own EVERYTHING of Card Captor Sakura!! and I mean, EVERYTHING! NEVER buy the crappy dubbed and HEAVILY edited and cut version that airs on TV. You want to hear the charming and catchy opening song "Catch you Catch me" and hear the outrageous Osaka-ben of Kero-chan! and his "Leave to Kero" clip after each episode!! You will love each character! A wonderful blend of plot and characters that is perfect weather you are little or old like me! There are plenty of suspence and action, grade A animation (for a tv series), and you will learn that all things will chain together in the end, and finally make sense!! Of course, the amount of cuteness....is really is an understatement. There are tons! Watch this series, you will not be sorry!!
Rating: Summary: Big Dissapointment Review: I bought this DVD, Watched a little bit, and the Returned it because even thought the technical information page says that it plays in english and japanese it only plays in japanese and english subtitles. I was very dissapointed.
Rating: Summary: Sub VS. Dub Review: I completely agree that they really messed this one up. I do enjoy the subs much better then most of the dubs. But my thoughts are that if we by the dubbed then they will make more subs. Reasoning...If people don't like the dubbed version what makes the big corps think that they can sell subbed. Usually I try to buy both when I'm able to but I do prefer the sub. My reason for the dubs are so that americans will see the animation and if they like the dubbed plot I sure they like the subbed one even better.
Rating: Summary: The Show Review: I don't really like cardcap. because it doesn't have excitement in it... I mean, the problem for them is always that they have to capture a card...I mean it's just "oh look it's a card, we have to capture it..." and then, nothing happens to them except...nothing. I think CLAMP should add more excitement.
Rating: Summary: A little repetitive Review: I enjoyed 3/4 of the episodes of on this tape. The Jump card episode, though, was a tad boring. I had wanted to see the one with her mother, the real version of Li-kun's entrance, and the Silent card, which was amusing. However, the Jump episode, to put it plainly, was horrible. Too bad that's the first episode on this tape. Otherwise, buy this tape, and not Cardcraptors, please.
Rating: Summary: I like this show but it's alittle repetitive. Review: I like this show but it's starting to become a little predictable. other than that it's still watchable even in it's uncut format. I don't know why it's 13 and Up. It's not like Sailor Moon Uncut. Much cleaner regardless of some less than desirable traits which are edited from CardCaptors. I still recommend CardCaptors for the younger bunch. Something I must the Otaku this show is still a kids show even in its original format.
Rating: Summary: This is SWEET! Review: I loved this video! It showed me alot more than I knew about Cardcaptor Sakura than i did before and i love the one when she faces the illusion card! that one really got to me:_-) there were also some profanity but i can see why they used it. there was a ton of battle costume that were spectacularly drawn and i love kero's check at the end of each episode! can't wait for the new one to come out g2g!
Rating: Summary: Such a wonderful thing Review: I was so proud to see the 2nd cardcaptor sakura come out, because after the 1st one, it seemed like forever before this one came. I zoomed down to the store and bought one of these awesome DVDs.I really like the front cover of this one better than the last one, but they are so totally cute and Lei is introduced in this DVD and he is really adorable, but i can't tell you anymore about it or you will know what happens in these four wonderful episode. But let's get to business, if you liked the firs DVD of Cardcaptor Sakura, then you absolutely can't stop there! You must get this volume and volumes to come! I thought watching these was worth my time and I'm sure you'll feel the same way also!
Rating: Summary: Cute anime. I don't understand the Dub verses Sub Wars! Review: I'm thinking about buying both versions only I'll watch the uncut version on my imac ( I call it EEMac). I have brothers who watch cartoons with me all the time. I hate taping this off tv. Get these DVDs. Don't let the dub Sub war consume you. I'm annoyed by their rants. Aren't you sick of this debate over CardCaptors and CardCaptor Sakura as well as Sailor Moon. Fight back support both versions.Silence the rantings, Decide for yourself! May the Dub and Sub war rest in heavenly pieces. Or may the fanatics be removed from the rating community by force.
