Summary: Pikapalooza!
Review: Pikachu, Pikachu everywhere! (and oh yeah, Ash too) In this volume of Pokemon, we get three interesting tales in the "Pokemon" animated series. In the first one, Misty gets a new bike! Actually, the gang borrow bikes to help out a sick Pokemon across a long bridge. But a bike gang rule the area and they want to battle. And then something unexpected happens (let's just say Big Jess and Little Jim, if you know what I mean) Next, they arrive at the House of Imite where a copycat actress is having her problems with her Pokemon, Ditto. It seems to mess up faces, but the Rockets don't care! This episode also has the funniest version of the Rocket motto I've ever seen! (and they don't do it!) Finally is the already Pokemon classic, "Pikachu's Goodbye" No one can resist an episode filled with Pikachu. But the question on everyone's mind is, will Ash give up his to the herd. Be prepared for a heartwarming ending that, while obvious, should still touch all Pikachu fans everywhere. So Pika, Pika till next time! (Pikachu!)

Summary: Enjoyable series but too expensive
Review: Pok?mon is the story about Ash Ketchum and his friends, Misty Williams and Brock Harrison. Ash's goal is to become a Pok?mon Master. Misty's goal is to be "the best at everything" but, more specifically, a Water Pok?mon Master. Brock's goal is to be the world's best Pok?mon breeder. Pok?mon are the animals that inhabit their world. They come in many different species (mouse, cat, dog, etc.) and types (electric, grass, water, fire, etc.). Each Pok?mon trainer trains his or her Pok?mon to battle other Pok?mon and win badges to compete in Pok?mon Leagues. Ash, Misty, and Brock must deal with Jessie, James, and Meowth of the evil Team Rocket, who want to steal Ash's first Pok?mon, Pikachu, and usually other Pok?mon as well. This Japanese animation series is an advertisement for the Pok?mon video games, and the episodes' plots are usually simple, but this is actually an enjoyable series. Common themes are friendship, not giving up, parting ways with a dear friend, and other good morals. Parents and guardians that are concerned about the violence need not worry. Yes, the kids have their pets fight each other, but they also must learn to take care of and love their pets. Girls will find a strong female role model in Misty. Overall, this is a fun, simple, warm-hearted, rather repetitive series. However, despite how much I like the anime, the DVDs are not worth your money. Each episode is probably less than twenty minutes long, and there are only three episodes on each DVD. You would be paying the price of this DVD for around one hour of Pok?mon. That's ridiculous. They don't even include the Japanese vocal tracks with English subtitles or the fun music videos from the TV airings. You can rent these same English-dubbed episodes on VHS. If you really want this series on DVD, my advice to you is to buy the movies and the special, "Mewtwo Returns", and wait for box sets of the series.

Summary: Great Vidio!
Review: This is a great vidio! And i liked the part at the end of the episode called 'Ditto's Mysterious Mansion', when Team Rocket was trying to dress up Meowth as a Dratini and he said "Oh, yeah? Take that, and that!" and he scratched Jessie and James. And, if you have a pokemon club on aol, e-mail me at DGJasmine@aol.com.
