Summary: 5 Hello Kitty cartoons not available since the 80's!
Review: This review is for the "Hello Kitty Plays Pretend" DVD. The DVD cover image shown on Amazon is NOT correct. They show the cover for "Hello Kitty Tells Fairy Tales."

This DVD is one that was previously only available in the Hello Kitty 5-DVD gift set (which I bought). The cartoons on this DVD are from the 1980's tv show, Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater. They feature Hello Kitty, Tuxedo Sam, My Melody, Chip, Catnip, Grinder and Fangora, who are actors that put on plays. The DVD comes with 5 episodes, and each episode is 10 minutes long. This DVD contains: The Phantom of the Theater, Frankencat, Catula, The Pawed Piper and Rumpeldogskin. I previously owned the 2 Furry Tale Theater VHS and none of these episodes were on there, so they were entirely new to me! I'm a huge Hello Kitty fan and thoroughly enjoyed watching these "Hello Kitty" versions of classic fairy tales. I recommend this to Sanrio fans and anyone with young children!
