Summary: Seasonal fun, and a favorite!
Review: Our daughter, at 7 months, is already addicted to Elmo (so much for "no TV before age 2"), and has a big attention span when it comes to his videos. She really enjoys this one--more than just "Elmo's World" but less than her favorite, the "Elmo in Grouchland Sing and Play" video.

The video's plot is simple--Elmo has come to the Count's castle for a visit, and to trade "spooky" jokes. Everyone in the castle takes part--a skeleton, a pipe organ, the bats. In the usual format, song clips and sketches are introduced. They include the Count singing the "Batty Bat" (that's a favorite) and the Ernie and Bert in Egypt sketch.

Funny, I never even stopped to consider whether or not it was too scary! Our daughter wasn't frightened at all. Other reviewers are saying that their toddlers are a bit scared by this one, so maybe next year (we're putting it away 'til next Halloween) we'll get different results!

Summary: Elmo says Boo!
Review: This is my sons favorite video. I was afraid that it might be a little scary considering he is only 20 months, but that is not the case and I am so happy I purchased it.

Summary: Great for kids who love The Count!
Review: This video is perfect for Halloween--and any other time of the year too! My son (17 months old) loves watching this video, as one of his favorite characters is The Count, and he is featured throughout the video. This video is not really scary, although there is a semi-realistic-looking skeleton that talks. The ghosts in this video are too cute to be scary. If your child likes The Count and/or Elmo, this video is sure to be a hit. It includes everything kids love about Sesame Street--lots of singing and a host of characters that entertain the little ones!

Summary: Halloween Fun
Review: We bought this ELMO video for our daughter (14months) since she's a Halloween baby...well it proves to be another great treat. Like with all the Elmo videos she is all eyes for ELMO and rarely moves an inch when watching him...except for when Julia Roberts comes on and Elmo tries to scare her....very odd...but she got upset every time that part would come on....(Also in the best of elmo with the same part). My husband and I would make sure to laugh and clap during that part...so she is comfortable with it now...But otherwise this movie is a perfect Halloween video to add to the collection!

Summary: Get Ready for Halloween!
Review: We specifically purchased this DVD to prepare our daughter (age 2) for all the spooky things she would see when the Halloween decorations came out and trick or treating began. We started watching it in September and by the time she saw skeletons, spiders and ghosts she loved them all. She literally wanted to "hug" spider and skeleton decorations that she saw. It helped make what could have been scary, fun for her.

The jokes throughout are a bit much and go right over a toddler's head but in all, it's a fun show and we have enjoyed watching it!
