Summary: To Dub or Not to Dub?
Review: The dubbed version of Sailor Moon R is sort of disappointing to me, as I've seen the subtitled version first. I expected the cuts that they made, and the changes in dialogue, but I feel that Pioneer did this film's viewers a disservice by changing the soundtrack's music so much. The original music was much more effective than DiC's needle-drop canned music used here. Also, "The Power of Love" is obviously too short to replace "Moon Revenge", as you can notice that they had to repeat the song's opening verse again. Also, the actor doing Artemis's voice is terrible! I laughed every time he spoke, because he sounds so goofy! If you liked the Cartoon network's version of the series, and haven't seen the sub, then maybe you'll like this better than I did. (This version is better for kids, though, as they don't have to read the subtitles here.)

Summary: A Promise Fulfilled
Review: This is a great anime! Yeah, so it's not in the "pure" subtitled version, but some of us don't like lstening to those annoying, squeaky Japanese voices! And there wasn't that much editing, so don't complain about censorship. Any Sailormoon fan will love this movie. It's got a great storyline, great animation, and pretty decent music too. The new transformation music is really cool! Thank you, Pioneer! Now, hurry up and dub the "S" series, so we're not all stuck watching the re-runs on Cartoon Network!

Review: I am a total diehard Serena+Darien / Usagi+Mamoru / Sailor Moon + Tuxedo Mask / Serenity + Endymion (or whatever you want to call them! ) fan! If you love the strong friendship and love of the Sailor Scouts and Tuxedo Mask, then you will LOVE this movie! Trust me on this one! If you've only seen the DiC version, then you've gotta check this out. It's got the same DiC voices, but much much more storyline and character depth than the TV show. A MUST see!

Review: A delightful tale of 5 super hero girls out to save the universe in the name of love and friendship. Sailor Moon R is a very awsome movie it teaches the power of love and friendship, it stays true to the original but is decent for all ages. It is a movie I feel everyone should have in there VHS/DVD collection

Review: I think that this movie is great.Especially for the people who are big fans of Sailor Moon and her scouts.I did not have any complaints from this movie.I thought that there was good animation and a good use of characters.There was a good plot for the story.This movie is what I call comedy and adventure. In the funny parts they would make you laugh your head off and in the adventure you could actually feel, the excitement. So to anyone out there,BUY THIS MOVIE!

Review: I'm sorry, but I personally did not like this version of this movie. The content was totally different from the subtitled movie. And I agree with the viewer from MI, what's up with Rini calling Serena "Moon Mama"? That's ridiculous. They cut out some parts which wasn't necessary. They say its for 13 and up. They made it more like content for a 9 year old. Sorry, but they dubbed this movie horribly.

Summary: Some Problems
Review: I thought this movie was pretty good, especially since they used some of the japanese names, but my favorite part was the opening scene wich had Super Sailor Moon and the Super Sailor Scouts. I think that all viewers should be aware that this movie SHOULD NOT BE RATED 3 AND UP! It should be rated 13 AND UP! There is too much nudity for it to be rated 3 and up! I think that you should give it a second thought, unless you don't mind the nudity. Overall, I thought it was pretty good (at least you don't have to read the subtitles:) But I do not recommend this movie for small children. They really didn't cut anything out. It's quite a bit different from the Dic episodes. I think the song "The Power Of Love" is pretty good:)

Summary: Sailor Moon R is amazing!
Review: I first saw this subtitled version earlier in the year. Although i really liked Sailor Moon and watched the show, i didn't even know want loving Sailor Moon was until i saw this movie. I borrowed it from a friend and instantly fell in love. This movie shows Sailor Moon as it was meant to be seen. All the characters are true to thier real selves, instead of what DIC made them into. This movie is a must for all ture fans and even for those who just like the show.. In its original form there is no way for you to be confused by uncomfortably dubbed scenes that try to block out what we consider inapropriate. This movie is suitable for American children no matter what anyone says. We just have to accept some parts of life that Japan already has. So please, Buy Sailor Moon and support our anime.

Review: This was one of the best sailor moon movies I have ever seen. I couldn't stop watching it. I watch until 1 in the moringing. I can't wait until the rest of the sailor moon movies are dudded in english but there like taken forever. This was the best sailor moon I ever seen. This movie is tops. I love how they keep the sound of sailor moon broch the same as the japenes. This movie is to good to see. All of my friends love it. Coolest movie ever
