Summary: Wow! Excellent DVD!
Review: If you haven't seen a Sailor Moon movie yet, you're really missing out. The plot, action and raw emotion surpass anything you've seen on Cartoon Network.The presentation on the DVD is spectacular. Each DVD menu screen has some animation (you may expect this from a regular DVD, but most anime DVDs are pretty plain) and the "character info" screen is super. It has a well written bio for each main character plus a video clip of their transformation and one or two attacks! The subtitles use a nice yellow font with a black outline; great for readability. Do yourself a favor and watch the Japanese version, the English version has been edited for cultural differences and content. Blah! All in all, this DVD is an asset to any anime collection.

Review: I just started watching sailormoon on the cartoon network and every since I love it. I watch all the movies and read all the books. This movie to me deserve more stars that is how much I enjoyed it and I recommend this for everyone to watch.

Review: This rocked. I own a fansub and when I found out they had a dub coming out I went nuts. I watched it and it was great. They kept the original story down real good too. Using the american names and voice actors. Oh just watch it and youl love it. I can't wait for S and SuperS to come out on dub.

Summary: Sailor Moon R Dub "Promise of the Rose"
Review: This movie is ok.I think it could be better if it was more like the Japanese version.This movie is exactly like the DIC version!Pioneer changed the powers though on some of them.Jupiter: Spream Thuder Crash insted of Jupiter Thunder Crash,Mars:Evil Spirts Disburst insted of Mars fire balls Charge,Moon:Moon Princess Elimmination insted of Moon Septer Elimination.Also they change the subject of the real movie pretty much.The sailor scouts call Tuxedo Mask Tuxedo Most of the time! Serena and Darien call each other friends...Ok..yet they kiss! Basically the movie is really messed up and I hope the next is better! THIS MOVIE is an ok movie in my opinnoin ,but I would not buy it over the subtitled version!

Summary: Sailor Moon R is the best !
Review: For all the Sailor Moon fans out there, this movie is great! I loved the quality of colors in the movie. The voices for the characters, I thought , did and excellent job. Not only did this movie have romance , action ,and a little sadness in it , but it was also hilarious!I really got to know the characters better too.I really love this movie and I would highly recomend all the Sailor Moon fans out there to buy this movie, you don't know what your missing!

Summary: The uncut dub was okay, but it wasn't "uncut".
Review: I haven't seen the cut version of the dubbed "Sailor Moon R", but I must say that the dub on the DVD is uncut visually and musically (except for the opening theme, but we still get "Moon Revenge") but not in dialogue. I feel that the actors and actresses on the American Sailor Moon aren't fit to be anime characters. In fact, I know some of them were in shows like Care Bears (Sailor Jupiter was the voice of Champ Bear), and other childrens shows. Sailor Moon really wasn't meant to be a strict childrens show in Japan. And Terri Hawkes really doesn't seem to fit Usagi for me, her voice is a bit awkward for that part. I feel the cheesy dialogue in this movie took away all the emotion. For example, when Sailor Moon is losing all her energy, in America Fiore says something like, "Raise your hands if you want energy!". Too corny for me. And the way they pronounce Fiore's name is sooooooooo annoying! I would like to say I'm glad they kept the original music in the uncut dub. While everyone who has the dubbed video must listen to the annoying DiC music, I get to listen to the ORIGINAL soundtrack ^_^. As for the DVD itself, it was okay. It was great that they had both subtitled and dubbed, but it didn't have too many features and the design was done well. Let me say one more thing: The Hayao Miyazaki dubs that have been released have been great because of the talented voice actors (not to mention some of them are pretty popular like Claire Daines and Kirsten Dunst.). Animes like Ranma 1/2 are very popular here in America even in the dubbed version because of the professional dub actors and actresses. Most of the animes that have become popular in America have become popular because of good acting and the fact that the English voices are very similar to the Japanese voices (a good example would be Ranma 1/2). If I could rewind time, I would go back to when Sailor Moon was just about to be introduced to America, and put it in the hands of a company that does anime. In conclusion, if you have never seen the subtitled version of Sailor Moon, you'll really love this movie. If not, you might want to rent it first.

Review: BSSM: Bishoujo Senshi Sera Muun (Pretty Soldiers Sailor Moon) OK! R is the best! The plot rocked and the graphics? WAY COOL! I loved the subbed better than the english! Oh yea my fave part is when Sailor Moon ______. I won't tell you what happens! Buy this movie!

Summary: BEST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN! ^_^
Review: This movie was great! I really enjoyed it! I had the Japanese version before I got the new English DVD, and I never expected the movie to be so good! I don't know why the other people were making such a big deal about how it was inappropriate for children under 13 and had curse words in it because there were none! I would recommend this movie to any true Sailor Moon fan!

Summary: Sailormoon is the Bomb!
Review: I love this movie. It goes into more depth of the characters. And did I hear the original actress to play Raye( Sailor Mars)? There was no editing. I was almost shocked to see Sailormoon barely nude. The scenes between Serena and Darien were sweet to show that Darien does truly care about her. I thought it was sweet that Reenie called Serena momma? Now what about Darien Daddy? Anywho,didn't anybody notice that Fiore looked exactly like Alan from the Doom Tree Series? Maybe he's a cousin. I recommend this movie 10 stars.

Summary: Salior moon now and foever
Review: This movie is agin shows the greatness of the Sailor moon saga. The charters are more mystical than in the American T.V Series. I hope these new videos will encouage more T.V and movies to come out . Perhaps more of the Japanese series in Enghlish will come out. A must have for the romance and comedy of the Salior Moon fan .
