Summary: It was alright
Review: I am a huge fan of the sailor moon series. The American video is very good and is very close to matching the American series. It is very funny. Unfortunately, I have seen the Japanese versions of this film and find that the watered down english version doesn't quite live up. It loses something in the translation. I would only recommend this movie to those who have no interest in seeing the Japanese version.

Summary: WOW ! What A movie!
Review: Hello all you sailor moon fans. To the contrary of what other S.M. reviewists might say this S.M. movie is the best I have bought both Sailor MoonS and SuperS and of both the movies,Sailor MoonR is the best.I was very stunned to see Sailor Moon almost totally nude,I didn't quite understand why Darien didn't kiss Serena in the begining of the movie but I guess it's a guy thing. But everyone you should really ,really buy this movie its a really good movie.

Summary: Blown away!
Review: All I can say is WOW. Pioneer did a great job with this. Sub in english AND uncut! What more could you aske for! The plot is slow in the start, but soon you get into it and everything unfolds before you. My only set back is I can't stand the pink haired one(chibiusa) but her role is fairly small. You get into Darien's past and see the first time Serena and Darien met! Its great. Forget 5 stars I give it TEN!

Review: This was a wicked awsome movie. It focoused (i cant spell very good) it focoused on Darien's past and how Serena became friends with him. Fiore is awsome! but Reni didnt have very much plot in this movie. But its so funny when she sticks that fake gun at Serena. I must of seen this movie a million times. This movie is great!

Review: This is the most outragous and sad movie in all times. I don't what to ruin the movie for the rest who don't have it but Why? did Darien try to get out of kissing Serena? And for all of you in Japan, ect. I think Serena is alot elegent than Bunny, but Bunny sounds cool to when she looks so cute and everything.It was sad when Sailor Moon risked her own life to save her friends and Darien. TRY AND GET THE SAILOR MOON COMICS**SUPER S AND ORINGNAL

Summary: anime at its best
Review: THe first time I ever saw sailor moon was in a book but one day, I happened to turn on the sattelite on a German channel and voila there was sailor moon . Funny enough the R movie was shown like it was a part of the series it was shown in parts but at least I can say that i enjoyd seeing it, and can only advise others who haven't to check it out because it really is that good.It was so good that I orderd it again from Amazon.com in its original japanese version plus the S movie and the SS movie.

Review: This is a wicked good movie. I kept watching it over and over so many times my bought me new Sailor Moon movie. But really it's a great movie and a giant tear jerker. I mean I probably watched it 1,000 times the first day and I still cry. If you like comedy, adventure, romance (Sailor Moon) and tear jerkers get this movie.

Review: the sailormoon was great .the only problem they they had was they skip some parts of the stoy . DIC also did a wonderful job with the move when they dudded it . I really can't wait to see the oters and I hope it will be much more longer .

Review: sailormoon R movie is the best! I must admit that the plot is not that impressive, but really, do you watch Sailormoon because of its plot? Of course, not! You watch it because of the characters in it. Rei is so sweet to Usagi in the movie; showing just how close their friendship is---contrary to what people say that she hates her. It is shown in the movie how Usagi is very brave when her friends are in danger; proving that she is NOT just a ditz or a crybaby. And Mamoru is totally hot! PEOPLE, YOU HAVE GOT TO BUY, BUY, BUY THIS VIDEO!

Summary: I forgot something!
Review: My first review focused on what I felt were good and bad things about this dub, like the music & the voice acting, etc.However, I forgot to mention that the beautiful art and animation [like the bright, vivid colors and the "glossy and shiny look" (mostly noted in all of the characters' hair), plus the awesome special effects, etc.] that captivated the viewer's attention in the original subtitled edition were seriously toned down for this dub. If you guys don't believe me, just check out the opening sequence, especially when *the girls are on the bridge and when *Usagi/Serena is hugging Luna. This was a great injustice to this movie because the animation sequences were brought down to DIC's level [making the animation look kind of old, taking out most--or all--of the gloss, and not applying the full color, brightness, and sharpness displayed in the original]. If the amazing Japanese animation was left untouched, I would've given the movie 5 stars. But since the movie's animation was tampered with, I can only give it 3 stars because Pioneer tried its best. Too bad it didn't try harder. Everything else, like the voice acting or the music, might change in both Sailor Moon S & SuperS, but don't expect this "toning down" art technique to change; the opening sequence of this film, and all of Sailor Moon R for that matter, was ruined by this technique and the other two movies will be ruined as well.
