Review: I am 14 and I am a pokemaniac and I must say it was a great movie but there wasn't enough action and from the short preview of pokemon the movie 2000 it looks alot faster pasted with more action.I am just wishing that they will also bring over the 3rd pokemon movie from japan so then we can have them all.

Review: Well, I now own the dvd version for my daughter. My daughter who is 6 adored the movie. In my opinion, the cartoon series is better than the However, for the audience it is trying to reach, it does it's job.

Review: I've heard a lot of complaining about how this movie is different from the Japanese version. I have not seen the Japanese and I probably won't get to see it. The best way to look at them each separately. I didn't get to see Pokemon: The First Movie in the theaters so my first time seeing it was on DVD. I love the show and I loved the movie. It's darker and more dramatic than the show. I have to say though that those who are unfamiliar with Pokemon, might not like this movie. Pikachu's Vacation was brighter and bubbly. It's kind of kiddy, too. The DVD features are cool, too. The sound is great and it also features Ash's Journey, M2M's music video, and stuff about Anime. If you get the DVD, you've gotta watch it with the Director's Commentary. It's really interesting and funny. One thing though: the reviews say that the movie is only 55 minutes long, but my counter read 1:15 at the end, and that wasn't including Pikachu's Vacation.

Review: I am not real a poke'mon fan i dont buy the cards but i do watch the show and it is kid anime but it is good anime . Plus Mew is so cute . The story is not a rengel but it about clones and how ash ,misty ,brok fight MewTwo with out give away the movie i am going to end . but beware Mewtwo may be a new poke'mon but dont let that fule you .

Summary: A former pokemon hater
Review: ok, i admit it, i used to hate pokemon. then i was babysitting some kids and they dragged me to go see pokemon the first movie. suprisingly, the movie was really good. It's made me like pokemon a lot more(a miracle).The movie has a decent plot, is pretty cute, and is just overall much better than the TV series.it also has some very positive messages. so stop criticizing your kids for watching it, and go see it yourself!

Review: Why! I was hoping to see this movie like I did in Japan a fewyears ago only with subtitles...and I get none! US Pokemon is adisgrace to the anime community! They cut out more than 30+ minutesof the Mewtwo no Captu movie! And let's face it...Nyasu could whoop Meowth any day, any time.
