Summary: Sweet, innocent, simple, captivating - A Great Learning Tool
Review: I started out by buying Richard Scarry's counting DVD. I loved it so much, I bought all the rest (minus the nursery rhymes DVD). My 2-year-old son really enjoys watching the movie, as does my 6-month-old daughter. I personally enjoy the DVD and its innocence. I like that it is simple yet captivating for them. It really holds their attention. I tend to be pretty particular when it comes to movies for my children, making sure they don't teach any bad habits and that it doesn't teach anything contrary to the Bible. I was very pleased to see there wasn't any reference to magic, fairies, etc, as many things tend to include such references these days.

Review: My 28 month old loves this video and has learnt tremendously from it. It is exceptionally well tailored to the mind of the toddler.

Summary: Enchanting characters showing your toddler different jobs
Review: My almost two year old could watch this video over and over. It moves at a good pace for toddlers with lots of interesting characters. It's funny and entertaining for adults who are subjected to it over and over as well. It's a great video to introduce kids to the concept of "what I want to be when I grow up" without gender stereotypes (there are female building contractors and male bakers, etc.) The silly short stories are adorable and teach great lessons at the same time (look before you cross the street, etc.)

Review: My three year old son watches one dvd every day. Mostly he choses one of richard scarry and I like to watch them too! Funny, interessting and nothing scarry. Perfect for a preschooler!

Summary: A Must in Toddlers' Video Collection
Review: My three years old son falls in love with Richard Scarry's stories. The video arouses little toddlers' curiosity to think about the topic: What would you like to do when you grow up. Same as the great Richard Scarry's stories, the artwork is adorable and the presentation is fantastic. With different characters, the toddlers can realise that there are many different jobs in the world. Everyone's job and contribution is very important in the BUSY TOWN.

We have had this video since my oldest started watching videos and it's never gone out of style, like Barney or Teletubbies. Plus it's a great learning video and the kids don't even realize it.Today I ordered 4 more Richard Scarry videos to go with our current collection.

Summary: Absolutely one of the best children's videos.
Review: Our son was passed down this video, along with the Counting, ABC's and Mother Goose tapes. He loves all of them, especially Busy People. It teaches about community, work ethic, teamwork and careers. This older series of Richard Scarry is a classic, as are the books that are also out. Highly recommended.
