Summary: Smiles for all
Review: I did not expect to like 'Finding Nemo'. It seemed uninteresting, and too much of a feel-good story to have any humor. Nonetheless, my enjoyal of 'Shrek' convinced me to give this a try, and I was not disappointed. The movie is fun and more important, funny, and the characters are distinct and enjoyable. Wisely, the writers did not stick to convention but instead added wrinkles into the characters' journeys, from the fish-loving sharks to the bodacious sea turtles, the story is inspiring to all because it shows two main lessons: the value of friendship and family, and that anyone can make a difference. Watching Al Brooks' character evolve from a timid fish into a brave one was fun to watch, as was the parallel transition of Nemo from boy to teen.
Anyone should be able to enjoy 'Finding Nemo.' It is not sappy or ordinary, and instead thrives on its excitement and originality.

Summary: Excellent movie - pure and simple
Review: Finding Nemo is a shining example of how simplicity (so rare these days I may add) is always a huge success. This is a movie for every age. It is however, so much more fun watching with young kids - watching their spontaneous and uninhibited responses. No matter what the age of the audience, it is bound to rivet you to your seat. Few other movies are a match for this movie - I have to go back all the way to The Jungle Book (original) to find a match! Well made and highly recommended for anyone's movie collection. I watched the movie in the first week and bought the DVD the first day. The animation is exemplary. Well done Disney and Pixar!

Summary: Finding Nemo
Review: This romantic film has made me laugh and sometimes makes me cry because it has got exceedingly good graphics and the character like Bruce the cunning shark is so clever and witty people would laugh so much and fall off their chair. My favourite character is the blue tang fish called Dory because she can be narrow minded like me because I sometimes lose my mind too.
My other favourite characters are Nemo because he is funny and so sweet and he makes me laugh.
I also like one of the pelicans and I can't remember the name.
All the animals are so wonderful and Albert Brooks puts in the must funny words in their mouths. Albert has a way of expressing how the characters are feeling and emotions are going through their minds. The funny part is where Dory apparantly loses her mind and can never remember what they are doing in the ocean and why they are there. It's a beguiling film and it takes you somewhere exotic and you feel like you're in the film yourself .

Summary: Finding Nemo- ONe of the best animated features
Review: Finding Nemmo recently one an Oscar for Best Animated Feature, which I think it deserves (let's just be glad that Lord of the Rings wasn't nominated- or else they would have one Ugh) It's a beautiful movie that takes place in Australia, in the Great Barrier Reef, and in Sydney. We follow, Marlin, searching for his only son, Nemo, who ends up in a fish tank in a dentists's office, about to become the gift of a destructive little girl Marlin meets many memorable characters along the way, including turtles, Dory, and sharks recovering from eating fish. My favorite character of all the ones that he meets is Dory. Ellen DeGeneres is perfect for Dory's voice, and Dory is a laugh out loud charcter. She suffers from a bad short term memor. So she'll meet Marlin and then soon forget who the heck he is. She also has many of the most memorable lines of the movie (Just keep swimming, E-S-C-A-P-E funny it's spelled just like escape) The only thing that I don't like about the movie is it's length, it got to be pretty long at parts. But it is a movie that I think will always be remembered, not only for it;s beautiful animation, but also for it's plot.

Summary: THE BOMB DIGITY
Review: Finding Nemo is the BEST children's movie I have ever seen! And the best part is, it's not only for kids, I think it is very funny and enjoyable for adults and children alike.

Summary: Yes, simply Fantastic
Review: I'm too old for these movies. I didn't see it with kids. I waited to see it on this DVD and I am sad that I didn't see it in the theatre with nephews and nieces.

Surprisingly, Disney doesn't go overboard on their political correctness (just a few references trying to make fishing look bad but they fail, fortunately) and the rest is pure fun.

Plus the kid (er, the fish, Nemo) loves his dad and for a Disney movie of late, that is rare and refreshing. usually, Disney makes fathers idiots. Here they show a loving father and his son who loves him back. Just a sweet and innocentg movie.

And the animation is, as expected, marvellous. the humor is great for kids and some higher-level humor for adults (but no adult-only themes, thankfully, another rare Disney movie of late).

Summary: A bit disappointing to tell you the truth...
Review: Is Finding Nemo a great family movie, with an original story, beautiful visuals and excellent script? The answer, without any doubt, is yes. Does it match up to previous Pixar efforts such as the Toy Story series? Unfortunately, the answer to that is no. It's certainly not a bad movie, even one of the best of 2003. But for me at least, it brought down a bit of Pixar's reputation.

Let me start off by saying that I absolutely hate Disney movies, that is unless they are co-working with Pixar. Pixar is the genius behind it all, otherwise it would be a boring film with a dumb plot and predictable ending. I had absolutely hated many of Disney's recent flicks and surprisingly appreciated all of Pixars. So, after missing out on Nemo during the summer, I picked up the DVD when it came out. A couple of days before, I had watched Toy Story again, just to remember a classic. Since I had watched both of them within a short period of time I could easily compare them. And Toy Story clearly emerged as the victor.

Finding Nemo tells the story of a struggling clownfish father named Marlin (voiced by Albert Brooks) who raises his son Nemo so he avoids any type of danger or any obstacles. The reason for this is because Marlin's wife was eaten by a shark and he, of course, doesn't want the same happening to his son. When Nemo gets tired of it all and takes a dare from his class mates to go near a strange looking thingy (really a fishing net) he gets caught and is whisked away. Marlin is thrown into the mix, given the job of bringing his son back before he is killed in any way. Finding Nemo chronicles two journeys: Nemo's as he travels all over the place and Marlin's, as he continually pursues and pursues. Marlin's journey is the more interesting, as he meets many friends (and even more enemies) during his journey and has to overcome great obstacles to accomplish his goal. Along the journey, Marlin also gains a companion by the name of Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) who provides a lot of the film's humor.

The animation in Finding Nemo is stunning; Pixar has once again set a landmark for animated movies. It is one of the most beautiful cartoon movies of the past years and each picture is polished to look even better. The various sea creatures and locations is a good treat with some very nice models. The sound is superb and the voice acting provided by the actors is almost flawless. The DVD features both a Widescreen and Full Screen version of the film and many, many extra features including documentaries, sketches, interviews, sneak peeks, games, educational stuff, and other stuff, some very interesting to watch while some completely useless.

Finding Nemo's story is a bit original, not that much though. There are some parts where it is a bit slow and by the end, I have to admit, it does get a bit repetitive as all Marlin and Dory are faced with are constant attacks by other sea creatures. It is a good evening movie, definitely worth a rental. My whole family was entertained but none of us has watched it since, meaning that it was a bit of a waste. Rent it and enjoy it but don't buy it. Instead use it for Toy Story 1 and 2, far superior flicks with a cooler story and better characters.

Summary: Review for Finding Nemo by Ann Masline
Review: Finding Nemo is about a young clownfish named Nemo who gets taken far from home by scuba divers. Marlin, nemo's very worrysome and overprotective father and dory a very forgetful but entertaining blue tang fish go on a huge adventure to bring back Nemo from a fish tank with some very unusual creatures inside. In the end Marlin and Dory bring back Nemo to his home, the ocean. During the adventure they meet up with some very strange creatures like hungry seagulls, vegetarian sharks, surfer turtles and many others.

I think this movie is grat! I think this because it has a great plot, animations, and characters. It is definately on my top 10 movie list. I especially like it because no one has ever done this kind of animation, and at least I've never seen a movie about undersea creatures. I would have liked the movie better if they showed actually what happened to the other characters in the end or atleast during the credits. If I had to rate this movie 1-10 with 1 being the worst movie and 10 being the best movie I've ever seen I would rate this a 9.

Summary: What Is With This Movie!?!
Review: I've personally seen this movie for myself at a friend's house, to try to answer the question I've been wondering, why the heck is this movie so popular? This movie beat out the Lion King in box office for Pete's sake! Well, anyway, this movie is okay, but nothing really to jump up and down and scream over. All it is is about a father fish's desperate search to find his son, who was captured and put into an aquarium in Sidney, Australia. This movie is not even on par with the Lion King or Brother Bear, Disney's traditionally animated films. And it is not nearly as emotional as these two films. There's only one death in this whole thing, and it's in the beginning. It happens so early in the film that it's hard to feel emotion for this character. In The Lion King, Mufasa's death came on later in the movie, and we had more time to get to know about who he was, and his relationship with Simba, so it had much more force when it finally occured. Well, back on the subject of Finding Nemo, I gave it a three, because it is okay, but not something I'd want to watch again. Just ignore the hype and, if you really want this, get it for it being a fairly good movie, and not for it being "the most successful animated film ever" (not that it really is). Also, when it comes out, buy Brother Bear. And, if you don't already have it, buy The Lion King, so you can really see the King of All Animated Films.
