Rating: Summary: The Best of the Bunch! Review: After viewing a number of the titles in the Mind's Eye series, I have to throw my two cents in, and pick CYBERSCAPE for the coolest chapter that Odyssey has to offer. A number of other titles struck me as lacking in the music category, or contained images that didn't demand viewing from start to finish. CYBERSCAPE hits the bullseye on both accounts. This program changes images, moods, music, and motion frequently enough to grab you from the beginning and drag you, flying and soaring, to the very end. Here are to be found more surreal images of rockets and robots, nature and dreams. CYBERSCAPE is more in the style of "Gate To..." and "Beyond The...", rather than exagerrated screen-savers like "Ancient Alien" and "Turbulence". What puts this one over the top is the brilliant score from composer Peter Bernsetin. While Jan Hammer and Thomas Dolby also provided excellent music for "Beyond" and "Gate", Bernstein takes his influences for CYBERSCAPE not only from trance/techno, but from rock and world beat, then pulls the listener out of the keyboard and into undiscovered country. I can only hope Odyssey will eventually put this score on CD like they have for other titles. If you enjoyed "Beyond..." and "Gate...", you will love CYBERSCAPE. New to computer animation? You've found and excellent place to start. Dim the lights, spark some incense, and hang on.

Rating: Summary: We really enjoy it, cool 3D animation with irony Review: Hard to find 3d animation that has something to say. Enjoyed the irony and the animations look cool and original.Never seen anything like it.
Rating: Summary: Didn't wow me. Review: My first dvd in this sort of thing.Am I becoming harder to please regarding animation or have I just seen this elsewhere.I bought it for a backdrop for a party while the tunes were pumpin' but it's not what I expected.I tried to sit through the whole of this but found it redundant, and I got bored and left the room. Not recommended.
Rating: Summary: Uninspiring... Review: Uninspiring, or maybe I just have too high standards. Obviously the animator went to great effort to put all this together, but it's BORING AS HELL! Using canned 3D model collection doesn't cut it on a full-length DVD. I've seen better animation by beginning 3D animators.
