Summary: A Preemptive Knockout!
Review: Yes, I'm aware that I'm rating a DVD that hasn't been released yet, hence the review's title. The 3rd season's shows represent the creme-de-la-creme of America's beaux-artes: The Simpsons.

Suffice it to say that the characters are all there, fully fleshed-out: billionaire archetype Monty Burns, lovelorn Waylon Smithers, and of course, Clan Simpson.

The only detraction is the prolonged wait involved between DVD releases. While newer shows are released almost immediately, a classic like The Simpsons is left to collect dust on storage-room shelves. It's a crime against humanity I tells ya!

Summary: Classic Comedy
Review: Everyone must buy this hilarious set of the best TV show of all time. By season three, the animation and voice acting was perfect. The stories were better, and the jokes were funnier than ever before. Season three had classic episodes like Black Widower, Radio Bart, and Bart the Lover. This is a must-have DVD Box Set!

Summary: Classic Simpsons
Review: ..I can't believe that it has been over a decade since these episodes have come out. Even today, they are still among the best of the best. Such intelligent, ironic humor, filled with social commentary, it is a true classic...this set is the 91-92 season, before The Simpsons turned into the Homer-and-Friends-Wacky-Half-Hour. This set is The Simpsons the way it was supposed to be!

Summary: Simpsons season 3 - a must buy.
Review: This DVD is a must buy for just about any body, a Devoted Simpsons fan or someone who can just enjoy the show. This season, especialy, would be ideal. The animation is smoother and crisper and, with the dvd format, the sound is superb. Don't forget the episodes. 24 episonde from "Treehouse of Horror II" to "Bart the lover". They are all hilarious and (of course) comercial free. In conclution, anyone who has any interest in the Simpsons should order this DVD today.

Summary: Welcome to the Golden Age
Review: I cant's belive people are getting p[angry] becase they have a few years for the so called "best seasons" of the simpsons (namely any season from #9 on) to come out on DVD. obviously they just dont know true art when they see it. The third season is known as, to the true Simpsons fans of the world, as the beggining of the "golden age" of the show. This is where animation got cleaner, voices got crisper, plots got better, and Homer got stupider. From this point until the end of Season 8 is when everything about the Simpsons was just amazing. this the show at the top of it's game, at the pinnicle of it take over of the world of televison. Bart with his endless supply of catch phrases, Homer with the genius of Einstein trapped inside the body of the stupidest man on earth, Lisa with the brain of a 50-year-old Harvard professor but the heart and soul of a 8-year-old girl growing up in the middle of American suburbia. And of course, there's the supporting cast of timeless sterotypes that we see in our everyday lifes. Apu, the Indian clerk, Ned Flanders, the religois neighbor always willing to lend a helping hand, Seymour Skinner, the uptight, principal we've all had at one point in our lives, the list goes on and on.
And season # 3 is only the beggining, when Season 6 rolls around, it will truly be the second coming of Christ. I suggest you pre order this know, so you wont have the hassle of actully leaving the house and going to Best Buiy to get it.

Summary: You want our money!
Review: Fox wants our(and most of all advertisers) money.Thats a fact.Supply is an easy way to take advantage of demand and increase revenue.I have a demand for DVD's of the greatest prime time show of all time(The Simpsons).Where is the supply? Oh thats right...August.All thoughs episodes and all thoughs years of laughter and yet only 2 sets are out there. That seems a little slow to the punch.Fox needs to get on the stick and get those out to us.

Summary: Inexcusable Delay!
Review: This is a great season of the show, and I have anxious to buy it since the second season came out .... LAST AUGUST. What on earth is taking Fox so long to get these things out on DVD? ... . When this finally comes out, enjoy some of the all time great episodes.

Summary: It's not the commentaries.
Review: I don't know why everyone is thinking that it is the commentaries that are keeping the DVD's from coming out. Well, if you look at Futurama, which has the same amount of special features. I am only left wondering if I will still enjoy the Simpsons before when the last DVD comes out in about 18 years. Anyway, don't let these things bother you.

Summary: This is one simpson season not to miss
Review: The Simpsons Third Season is the best season of all because it has the greatest episodes with the greatest celebritys like the Baseball Players on "Homer At The Bat". There's Ken Griffey Jr., Darryl Strawberry, and Roger Clemems. There was also a really big star in the first episode of the third season with Michael Jackson. Spinal Tap is in "The Otto Show" and Sideshow Bob makes his second apperance ever since he was on "Krusty Gets Busted".
This season is the best I think because I have not seen every episode on it. Like on the first and second I have seen every
episode. I think is the best season of all.
