Summary: Toy Story 2 is An Interesting Movie
Review: Toy Story 2 was cute, funny, and interesting. It had quite a cute story line to follow which made it a hit for both adults and children. Parents- think you can't sit through an hour and a half of talking toys? Then you'll enjoy the inside jokes carefully tucked into different parts of the movie,(clips from Patton, and Jurassic Park, just to name a few). Also the vocabulary of the toys works well with both parents and kids- Kids understand it-and Parents catch the little jokes and phrases. All in all, very cute movie. Rent it, buy it,or just watch it. Thank you, AL

Summary: Aren't they lovely
Review: Where do I begin? Toy story 1 was already cool and great and I did not think toy story 2 was going to be any better, but it was.The Disney empire has struck again. Your kids will love it and if you like Disney so will you.

Review: I have seen this twice, and I have to say that I really loved it, and that I will buy the DVD when it comes out! I thought that this one was better that the first, and it was cuter. I cannot wait for the next one! I hope that they make one! The special effects in this one were great!

Summary: Great entertainment for all ages
Review: I love the way the Disney Co. writes their movies. Kids love them and think they are funny, but there is a lot of adult humor in most of them as well. Toy Story 2 is a good example. It's a fun movie for "children" of all ages.

Summary: TOY STORY 2 outshines its predecessor
Review: TOY STORY 2 is one of the exceptional examples that sequels can sometimes outshine its predecessor. With the same cast including Tom Hanks (Woody) and Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Tim Allen), TOY STORY 2 unravels the bittersweet fate that traditional toys will one day be obsolete, replaced by commercial computer games and toys. Such is the miserable past of Jessie, a cowgirl doll, the product of the famous toy catalogue now deserted by her owner. It makes a satire at the overconsumerism of today's world and strikes a compromise between nostalgia and leaving behind the past. Woody and Buzz through their adventures matures their thinking, knowing that friendship is the everlasting key and are dignified to serve their purpose.

Buoyant and energetic, the rambunctious cast with the sparkling dialogue and great music pumps up the movie with gloss and unexpected humanity. Despite the computer animation, the plot relates to the human life, and for all the marvels of technology dished up with Randy Newman's music including the Oscar-nominated piece "When she loves me" wins over the audience with its human drama. The exciting cirumstances at the Airport runway, saving Jessie from the clutches of an evil toy dealer are all realistically executed.

A family movie that is entertaining and conveys value is hard to come by. It is definitely a keeper in the VHS format and like a favourite toy, it will be a long time before you decide to chuck it away.

Summary: A great series
Review: What makes the Toy Story series so great is the fact it's two movies that take the same basic premise in two entirely different directions. The first is about accepting who you are and your place in life, the second about what's more important: living forever or living well. They are two very unique movies in the same series, which can not often be said. Often sequels only offer more of the same.

In addition the animation is just...wow! It makes me really jealous! I want to be able to do animation like that! And the human animation in Toy Story 2 is matched by only a few.

Plus, I never thought I'd be so moved by a movie as I was by TS2. I mean, I almost cried at certain parts!

Summary: Just as good as the first!
Review: Now that I am 13, I'm not a big Disney fan anymore. But I have to say the 2 Toy Storys are two of my favorite Disney movies. The best things about part 2 is that it has just as good of a plotline as part 1, and that the movie is enjoyable for anyone of any age. I've talked to little kids, teens, adults and grandparents and all of them enjoy this movie. There are jokes in it for any age, and the wole concept of the movie is great. There is also a little tie-in with Buzz and Star Wars. Like the first movie, this is a milestone in movies, it's probably the best thing I saw in the theatre all last year. I can't wait till October when it comes out on video. If you haven't seen it yet, go rent it in October.

Summary: And they say all sequels are terrible!
Review: Wow this sequel is even better than the first one. In this story a neglected-feeling Woody is kidnapped by a Toy Seller who realizes how much money he is actually worth. When Buzz finds out about it he and the Toy Story crew leaps to the rescue. But when and if they find Woody will he shred his newfound life style?

This story is not only funny but touching. It's truely a family movie. Anyone can watch it and smile.

Summary: Produced as a Sequel, But Could Stand By Itself
Review: Where Toy Story dealt with Buzz and Woody's identity crisises, Toy Story 2 deals with the importance of friendship and family. The storyline, acting and animation were superb. There was plenty of humor, but there was also sadness, regret, greed, and plenty of suspense. If you haven't already, go out and get your copy.

Summary: The Ultimate Toy Box goes to infinity and beyond!
Review: It is a true blessing that these two wonderful movies are being released to DVD in digital glory.

When Pixar made Toy Story, it astonished audiences all over the world. A new standard was set in computer animation and fun that everyone can enjoy. When they made Toy Story 2, it astonished audiences even more by being just slightly better in every way: A rare example of a sequal living up to the original. Both movies have true fun adventure with witty dialogue, original characters, and excellent story. As for the computer animation: WOW!

Not only do we get 2 great movies, but a 3rd disc that is PACKED full of features. This will be one of the best DVD box sets of all time!
