Summary: South Park Does it Again!
Review: I recently saw South Park the movie and despite the fact that it was downloaded on a 10 inch screen, i loved it. i have had this movie for 3 days now and already saw it three times. I am not the musical type but the songs in this movie are a big exception, especially the brian boytano song. It is just like a really long south park episode.
The plot basically is the kids go see an R rated movie made in Canada that teaches them to swear. The parents find out and start a war against Canada which leads to a chain of events ending with the devil and saddam trying to take over the world. It is an awesome movie even if you are not a south park fan.

Summary: This Flick Is A-M'Kay!
Review: Until I caught my first view of this flick, I never cared much for musicals. Actually, even after seeing this, I still don't much care for them. But there's something about Mister Mackey™ breaking into song whilst giving the kids lessons in not saying those certain four-letter words, while ironically singin' 'em aloud left & right throughout the number to prove his point. There's something about a henpecked Satan™ (in a life-mate relationship with the domineering Saddam Hussein™) crooning- in a Disney™-esque fashion- his desires to live up on the surface. And there's something about our fave eight-year-olds chanting out an inspirational tune of courage that portrays figure skater Brian Boitano™ as a world-saving, time-trekking superhero. I especially enjoyed the return of Big Gay Al™, my fave South Park™ guest character! And as expected, his over-the-top, flamboyant antics during the big USO show/prisoner execution really hit the mark!Speaking of USO shows, there's also the main plot of the flick: the big war between the US & Canada over... a movie?! WTF? And it's a war of wills and wits as well as one of bullets & bombs! And speaking of a war of wills, SP creators Parker & Stone have admitted that many of the events of the movie itself were allegories of all the difficulties, frustrations, and just plain sheer hell they had to endure at the hands of the studio's publicity agents, bean-counters, and even the MPAA™! And all whilst producing both this film AND a season's worth of South Park™ TV eppies no less! They even managed to throw a jab at the concurrently-running Star Wars™ Episode I; see if you can spot it! Fortunately, their battles and labor bore one of the most obscene, sickening, and just plain hilarious flicks I've seen in years. And just when most folks thought the 'Park was finished as a pop-culture fad! Well, that's all I have to say about that. Oh, all right, I'll let you in on a little shocker that happens in South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut™: Kenny™ dies! Whoops, does that count as a spoiler? Sorry 'bout that... heh. 'Late

Summary: This is nothing but a "Cussin' Contest"
Review: As a 'ground level' South Park Fan I had high expectations for this feature film. I found the socially relevant topics tobe top notch (as in the TV version), but the gratuitousness of the 'cussing' was a bit much to handle. Laughing about a controversial TV show centering around 'farting' and not much else can only go so far. Eventually the viewer wishes for the 'swear button' to be turned down some. The Oscar-Nominated song 'Blame Canada' was a huge disappointment. ANY song can join the annual top-5 to compete for the Academy Award, if such non-sense makes it into the list. I've always enjoyed the South Park Gang on TV, but honestly, the 'Movie Version' has somewhat dropped my enthusiasm. Move over, Beavis & Butthead, here's another 'ground breaker' to join the ranks of has-beens.

Summary: Hide it from the kids and laugh yourself silly
Review: Ok, ok, this is one of those guilty pleasures. I have to admit that I hate listening to people swear, think the animation in South Park is unbelievably lame, don't care what happens to Kenny and I like Canada (well, sort of.) So what makes this film so funny? Probably the over-the-top raunchiness that characterizes all South Park. The first time someone played a tape of the cartoon for me, I was gasping with laughter and had to rewind the tape to catch the stuff I was missing while I was convulsing on the sofa. (It was the 70-foot satellite dish issuing forth from Cartman's posterior that caused me to nearly lose consciousnes.) A little bit of vulgarity is annoying. Somehow, a ton of it, big heaping gobs, is hysterical. When you get to Terrence & Phillip's song number in their "film within a film" you will know what I mean. There's not only a lot of Terrence & Phillip (Canada's hottest action stars) but also a catchy, Academy-award nominated theme song (Blame Canada) and a very funny Satan who finds Saddam Hussein just a bit insensitive and uncaring. I laughed hysterically through the entire film. If you like South Park, the full-length movie will not disappoint you in any way.

Summary: That Movie Has Warped My Fragile Little Mind! (4.5 stars)
Review: "South Park" is now a movie and the results are hillarious. This is a really funny film that takes satire to the limit. Is the film outrageous? Yes. Offensive? Yes. Vulgar? Yes. But, it's SUPPOSED TO BE!!! It's "South Park" for crying out loud! ... Now, back to the review. Here is the story: Eric, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny sneek into a rated R movie which has every vulgarity every said by man. The kids start to swear and the parents are outraged. Now the parents declare war on Canada. It's up to the boys to prevent a war that can destroy the world. This movie is very funny. There is singing, but the songs are funny and vulgar. This is South Park humor at its almost best. Still, I found myself enjoying the shows just a little more than the movie. But don't get me wrong, I really did like the movie. I wished there were more special features on the DVD. It looks and sound spectacular, but it lacks in special features. There's two trailers and a teaser for the film, and that's about it. This would've been the perfect movie to have a few Easter Eggs lurking about. Oh well. This is a great film, and if you love the show, chances are you will enjoy this movie. ... All in all, very good movie indeed. As Eric Cartman would say, "Sweet!"

Review: South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut is a great movie. It has tons of jokes and will keep you laughing the whole entire movie. With a great plot and a awesome ending I encurage everyone to see it. South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut is ten times as good as the TV series! It has tons of surprises including when Kenney takes of his hood and you see his face. South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut is a perfect movie for people who like to laugh and have fun.

Summary: great raunchy fun
Review: I never thought I'd watch this movie, and then I watched it 3 times in a row when my roommate rented it. It rocks! The movie is about the kids' moms (Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny) getting in an uproar over Terrence and Phillip, the Canadian stars of a popular show with farts and curses. The moms blame Canada for this and go on the rampage to have the two stars executed. This is cleverly a metaphor for how many PTAs treat South Park itself. The show is also rife with a subplot of Kenny (who is killed in each episode of SP) going to hell where he witnesses a strange sad relationship between Saddam Hussein and Satan. The original score is funny and clever, with the Oscar-nominated "Blame Canada", Hussein's soliloquy "I Can Change", and the inspiring "What Would Brian Boitano Do?" (Yes, the ice-skater who is the kids' hero.) It's funny, it's raunchy, it's not for kids but then you already knew that -- it's in huge letters on the videocasette's cover! Watch it for some mindless funny entertainment. It's a cartoon, it's a movie -- it is not a film.

Summary: Satire At Its Best
Review: I can't add to what has been said in reviewing the movie. You just have to see it to believe it.
Having said that, I find this movie to be the epitome of satire, annihilating every "sacred cow" of American pop culture. Before anyone gets mad, I am a former Marine who loves my country and will kick ... if anyone messes with it. But because I love it, I can see it foibles and want to do something about it. The best way to get Americans to change is to make it humorous and/or laugh at it. From pseudo-moralistic censorship to Disney's monopolistic control of kids to Hollywood hoopla to the computer's ubiquity, this movie laughs at all of it while asking, is it all worth it?
It takes every dogma and carries it to its (il)logical conclusion to show how ridiculous it is.
This movie is the true inheritor of Plautus and Pope's A Modest Proposal.
Not for kids!!!!!

Summary: Best Movie of the Year
Review: This movie is the best movie in the year of 1999. If you like the TV show then you'll like the movie. It's has great variety of comedy such as that it is a musical, the jokes, and the script. Cartman is brilliant, and Kyle is still jewish. A funny new character that makes his appearence is "The Mole". This movie is funny and a great family movie. Buy it now.
