Summary: A sweet, funny, touching movie
Review: Here is a film for the kid in all of us, adults and children alike. This movie creates a fantasy world full of childlike wonder and humor - the characters really come to life thanks to brilliant computer animation and some inspired performances by the likes of Billy Crystal, John Goodman, and the late James Coburn. I watched the film without knowing much about the actual plot beforehand (an approach I would recommend to new viewers). However, I enjoyed it as much the second time around. Not only is there humor, but there are some sweet and touching moments that are handled perfectly and never stray into the realm of sugary sentimentality. The attention to visual detail is amazing and will reward repeated viewings. This is perfect for families to watch together without anyone being bored: a delicate feat that the filmmakers carry off admirably. In short, this is a movie that makes you feel good. Simple as that. What more can you ask for during these trying times?

Review: Of all the animated movies to come along recently, this is the one my family enjoys the most. If you buy this you won't be disppointed. The DVD extras are worth it too.

Review: This movie is awesome. I had seen Toy Story and A Bug's Life, and I had always liked that type of animation, but in this film it's taken to a new level, a new world, if you will. The animation is stunning, the characters are lovable, the story is timeless. Both adults and children will enjoy this movie!
The special features on this dvd will blow you away! Countless featurettes, trailers, tv spots, promos, conceptional art, and other bonus material that will take you all day to ingest!!! So, bottom line: BUY THIS DVD!!!

Review: I loved this movie, it was so cute and teaches kids not to afraid of the "boogy man" and certain made up monsters that live under the bed or in the closet. It's great for kids and the whole family. Excellent movie!

Summary: Something for everyone
Review: There's a little something for everyone in this movie. It's kind of cartoonish for the little kids (might be just a little scary for some of them), lots of not really violent action, a plot that while silly (monsters scaring kids to capture their screams for use as an energy source) is pretty well done, good characterizations (especially John Goodman as Sulley and Billy Crystal as Mike Wasowski)and some really interesting computer animation.
These things alone would make it interesting to watch but if I buy it it'll be for the extras.

Review: I own, and love Monsters Inc. I love the idea of why monsters scare kids. I have said this before on my review of the movie "ice age" and I will say it again. It's got comedy, drama, suspence, it has it all! And the characters!
Mike Wazowski-smart alic, funny, focused on winning, and nice. Sully-devoted, loveable, funny, big.
Boo- little, cute, kid, pretty much the only human in the movie.
See what I mean? I love this movie. If you don't own it, Buy it. If you do, buy it for somebody you know!

Summary: Good movie
Review: This movie is good, but I just can't rate it as high as Shrek! I thing the whole concept is a little much for kids under 3 or 4. I was impressed with the imaginative story line as well as the animation. Worth the $. I just wish movie makers would quit using up so much time on advertising at the front of the movie (this one is especially hard to get to PLAY; my DVD player is only 5 months old).

Review: My friends saw this in theatres and They said it was really good, so once it came out on video, me and my sisters rented it and when we watched it, we just about laughed our heads off!!! I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who likes comedy.

Review: I THOUGHT THIS WAS GREAT & THE LITTLE GIRL WAS SUCH A DARLING,BEST OF ALL THERE WAS NO VIOLENCE OR PROFANITY.IT GIVES AN UNDERSTANDING TO THE OLD CHILDHOOD FEAR THAT WE ALL ONCE EXPERIENCED & HELPS CHILDREN TO SEE IT IN A FUNNY WAY, RATHER THAN THE FEAR OF THINKING THAT THERE ARE CREEPY SCARY MONSTERS UNDER THEIR BED. MY CHILDREN LOVED IT!
