Summary: Madame Blueberry is VERY FUNNY, (and educational, too)!
Review: Veggie Tales; Saterday morning fun and Sunday morning values! Our whole family loves Veggie-Tales! The computer animation is superb, the humor is clever and witty enough for adults to appreciate, the songs are catchy, and the style is refreshingly wacky! In this episode, Madame Blueberry is taught an important lesson about materialism; namely, all the STUFF at the STUFF MART, CAN NOT buy her a happy heart; (and no, HAPPY HEARTS ARE NOT FOR SALE, IN AISLE 3)! My five year old thinks this story is hysterical, and enjoys watching it over and over again! Is the message of the movie getting through to her? I'm not exactly sure, but she watches it so much, that eventually it should! (Definitely a "must have" for all Veggie-Tales fans)!

Summary: How couldn't love Veggie Tales?
Review: Wonderful story about being thankful for what you have. The only thing I didn't care for was Mr. Lundt singing a "silly song" in stead of Larry. It just didn't have the same comedic punch. The movie is great though and teaches that if you can see what you have instead of what you don't, you'll be much happier.

Summary: The Best Children's Videos...Ever!
Review: I appreciate Veggie Tales values and humor. My children love to watch it. They characters are bright and lively. I like them to watch it because they learn and understand important lessons about life. I enjoy Veggie Tales humor, and I have all my friends watch it...even the ones who don't have children! If you've never watched a Veggie Tales video...you should! You won't be disappointed.

Summary: Just not that good for adults.
Review: I have loved every Veggie Tale up to this one. They're fun and kinda nuts... and while kids love them, they also work on a level which the kids miss but appeals greatly to adults. That is, until this one. If you're an adult, and you're not trying to teach your little kids to avoid materialism, buy another Veggie Tale video -- any one other than "Madame Blueberry".

Review: Madame Blueberry is great. Not only does it teach children great values about God, but it also has a funny intermission called 'Love Songs With Mr. Lunt'. Great movie for kids of all ages.

Review: This is the first Veggie Tales video I've seen, and I'm not sure who likes it more...myself, or my 16 month old daughter. I'm about to order another 3 or 4 videos!

Summary: A Great Way to Cure the I Want That Syndrome
Review: A fabulous lesson learned here, told with great humor and even better songs. Madame Blueberry wants everything she sees at her local Stuff Mart(anyone who hasn't been there) and discovers that what she really wants, a happy heart, can't be bought. I know some grown ups who could use this video. If you want a way to teach your children the difference between wanting and needing, without guilt tripping them, this video is just the right ticket. Perfect for preventing a comsumer driven Christmas.

Summary: Good, but zooms past the obvious.
Review: I like Veggie Tales. I really do. I was willing to forgive that all the major characters were male for a while. (There was no reason it couldn't have been Lauretta the cucumber...but hey, what's done is done.) But when they finally feature a female in a major role, she exists only to learn a lesson. Bob, Larry, and Jr. are characters to whom lessons happen. Madame Blueberry is one big ungrateful Problem. Sigh. What's the lesson here, that females are inherently flawed, males aren't? Look, I am aware that the Christian doctrine, in general, is not all that pro-female, but since there ARE female Christians couldn't they create some characters with which girls can identify? Or should I just be thankful (hee hee) that there IS such a thing as Veggie Tales?

Summary: Great for Sunday School as well as at home!
Review: I teach a third grade Sunday school class, and I always use a Veggie Tales video if there's one to fit in with our lesson. Today, as a prelude to Thanksgiving, we watched Madame Blueberry. The kids loved it, and they were able to apply what they saw to their own lives ("hmmmmm, maybe I don't need every Pokemon trading card"). I wish QWERTY had used an additional Bible verse about thankfulness (in addition to the Proverb on greed), but that's the only thing about this video that wasn't perfect.

Summary: Another great veggie tale that teaches good values
Review: Madame Blueberry is a new veggie tale with great stories and fun songs. My 3 1/2 year old is going around singing about thanking God for this sunny day, which he picked up from one of the songs on this video. The only drawback was that it seemed to have less songs than some of the other veggie tales. However, I'm not complaining--my kids love it and I know I'm reinforcing good values, especially values that are rarely found in the popular media. Definitely a keeper.
