Summary: Very sweet/Different Voices/Off da heezy!
Review: This movie came out before Yu Yu Hakusho came to the states. The voices were different, but I didn't like Kuwabara's voice. They called him Kuwahara! What's wit dat? But otherwise, the plot was really good, but you should watch some of the actual series before watching this or you will get confused. If you can get past the voices, this movie is off the heezy! I'd totally get it! I understand it's made for ages 16+ but if you're alowwed to see uncut, this is just a bit more intense. Holla!!!

Summary: pretty sweet!
Review: okay before you buy this just to tell you its dubbed! but they still do a pretty good job voicing the characters especcially heie anyway they cuss a lot and its kinda bloody oh ya kuabara well not to dis the movie but voice is awful!! he sounds like jackie chan. kurama is so tight its pretty much all about him they should call it the orgin of kurama over all its a good movie but the plot is kinda cheesy i would rent it first i did

Summary: Really great movie
Review: I love this movie, no matter the cussing and stuff! It is really great, and I suggest, if you like yu yu hakuhso, you should watch a couple of episodes if .hack//sign! That is like the best show ever! (I have all the games of .hack)

Summary: Girl Anime Fan 12/ Sailor Saturn 24/ Different actors!!!
Review: I love this movie! It may have had some real gore and cussing, but it was good! I still didn't like the voice changes, but it was made before the series on T.V. came out so I understand. Kurama is still the coolest and I loved hearing about his past. Botan getting thrashed for once was okay cause sometimes she's just too preppy! The last scene where they all fight together is the coolest thing I've seen since DBZ! Just because I'm underage, that doesn't mean I'm gonna go kill someone or start cussing someone out because I saw it! And I definetly wouldn't try pulling The Spirit Gun attack on anyone! Duh! If you're really that concerned, 13 and up should watch this! I mean, in my Blockbuster, almost every anime tape has a youth restricted sticker on it, but they aren't all as bad as they say. Get this and you'll enjoy. Just try not to get too annoyed with the voice changes! Holla!

Summary: A very good movie
Review: This movie is one of the best Anime ones I've seen. Although I was dissapointed about the voice actor changes.

Summary: Excellent Dvd, Stupid Voice Actors.
Review: The movie is great, following a new plotline where Botan has to protect a power sphere of the netherworld from getting into their hands. She falls unconcious and eventually is kidnapped by Yakumo, the king of the netherworld. Several fights and a good plot fill this movie, but there is one major problem... THEY DID NOT USE THE VOICE ACTORS FROM THE SHOW ON CARTOON NETWORK!!! Kuwabara, pronounced Kuwahara in the film, actually sounds some intelligent! Kurama's sounds close enough, Hiei isn't nearly as sarcastic, and Yusuke's is deeper, not filled withas much self confidence as before. Purchase this film if you love Yu Yu Hakusho and don't mind the difference in voice actors.

Summary: Even with the English cast of "Slayers," it's still good.
Review: Okay, before you people complain about, "oh, these aren't the same voices as in the TV show!," let me set this straight: This movie was released in the U.S. FOUR years BEFORE FUNimation brought Yu Yu Hakusho to the states and made it popular in America. Until then, this movie was only a video release by U.S. Manga Corps. Then, after FUNimation released Yu Yu Hakusho in the states and it became a success, U.S. Manga Corps. probably decided to cash in on the craze by releasing the film on DVD. With that said, even if people had seen the movie before, the voices probably would get on their nerves... after all, the people who did the dub for this also did "The Slayers," "Revolutionary Girl Utena," and most 4KIDSProductions dubs. And if you've seen them, it's pretty obvious that they aren't exactly the most talented. Still, the film does have a pretty good plot, and I'm always happy to know a bit more about Kurama's past(and this film deals with some of it). The movie probably takes place between the events of the Dark Tournament saga and the Sensui saga(as Hiei has now summoned the Black Dragon Wave(which is called correctly in this, not Dragon of the Darkness Flame), but Yusuke is not training with Raizen). The music is really good, I do like hearing the orchastrated version of the TV series music, and the ending theme(Never Say Goodbye) is excellent. If you were disappointed with the first Yu Yu Hakusho film, don't worry, this one more than makes up for it.

Summary: Kurama
Review: I loved this DVD! Being a YuYu Hakusho fan, I just had to have a favorite character and my favorite is Kurama from both the TV series and this movie. I liked seeing Botan getting beat up for once. The voices didn't sound right, of course, that might just be me, I watch the TV series too often I'm accustumed to the voices from that.

Summary: sooooo, you like anime?
Review: ahem* i bought this cool dvd. And i enjoyed it but one thing that really bugged me a whole lot, there darn voices, man! Yeah,I know they are in high school, but why change their cool butt kicking action voices??! Anyways, thats one problem I had with this dvd...Lots of violence and some profanity. Kuwabara i think cussed the most! yeah, I enjoyed seeing Botan getting beat up! heheheh...I course I'm a yuu yuu hakusho fan! I especailly loved the number 7 (Kurama's showdown)part, for all u KURAMA fans out there! drool* ahem* As i was saying, their voices were the only thing that annoyed me the most! And well, you'll just have to buy yu yu hakusho the movie to find out. ooooooo!!! one more thing, kurama's voice? not uh...I like the tv show voices better...bye!
