Review: LION KING II IS A REALLY GOOD MOVIE. THE BEST PART ABOUT THE MOVIE WAS THE FACT THAT KIARA WAS FALLING IN LOVE WITH KOVU AND SIMBA DIDN'T LIKE IT.EVEN THOUGH HE WAS ALL GROWN UP HE STILL HAS A LOT TO LEARN ABOUT "THE CIRCLE OF LIFE".

Review: The story was fun and playful, and with these qualities were interesting themes --- the appreciation of effort (Nuka's death and Zeera's reaction); the glorification of reconciliation, forgiveness, and unity; the profound portrayal of true justice; and the use of obvious, but fitting, symbolism. The downside of this movie was that it was a disappointment to the original, whose musical score and characterization transcended those of the sequel. True, rarely do sequels measure up, but the songs and characterization were not too impressive. I enjoyed watching Simba grow up more than I did Kovu or Kiara. I enjoyed Zazu's humor more the first time. I also think Timone and Pumbaa weren't as funny. The introduction of new characters neither enhanced nor downgraded the quality of the plot. I think Rafiki deserved more attention too, though In Upendi was fantastic. Its weaknesses taken into account, I still recommend this film to anyone. Disney's "magical charm" still persists.

Review: I collect Disney Movies and my 3 year old daughter is an avid watcher of them. I have to say that I enjoyed the first one much more than the 2nd one. There is so much more color and it's "happier" Although my daughter loves both of them. I just think that LION KING I is much better than Simba's Pride.

Review: Our Twins and the entire family give this one a FIVE. The children all have viewed The Lion King II, Simba's Pride every day for a week. We see again that good wins over evil. A good lesson for children.

Review: I have to say this movie is great for the very fact my grandson watched it 5 times or more over the weekend while he visited with us. He wants this movie for his Christmas present along with the original Lion King. Any movie that can keep him sitting still gets an A+ in my book.

Summary: Simba's Pride surprisingly good!
Review: As with most movie-goers I was shocked that the original Lion King was not on the top 100 movie list. And after Disney tried to follow with the terrible animated movies Pocahontas and Hunchback of Notre Dame, I had almost given up. However, Simbas Pride was actually a very good movie. My kids were enthralled with the new characters and overjoyed with the return of the old ones. The music was nice, not as soul shaking as the first Lion King, but better than most animated films. My kids loved the movie, we have about six showings daily!!
