Summary: Great Environmental Message!
Review: This is another Fox classic. This is the story of a fairy named Crysta, who is learning how to restore the forest. She meets Zak, a logger who she shrunk to save from a falling tree. She shows him a whole different view and teaches him about the rainforest. But soon Hexxus, a toxic monster, is released by some other loggers. Now it's up to Crysta, Zak, Batty, and the other fairies to save Ferngully, the very last rainforest. Some scenes may be too violent and loud for small children. But that is made up for with great songs and my personal favorite end song "Some Other World" by Elton John. This movie really gives a powerful message about conserving our rainforest and wildlife. Buy this video and learn something valuable and important about our world. You'll be glad you did.

Summary: Surprisingly Good
Review: This is one of my favorite animated movies. Obviously this movie is one big enviornmental awarness message but so is about 90% of all movies. Although this movie features a very well told story, the best feature is the beautiful animation. Showcases early use of CGI effects that are used today. This movie does have musical numbers but they are good musical numbers. And of course, who could forget Robin Williams as the crazy bat. Recomended to anyone.

Summary: Great movie
Review: This was one of my favourite movies when I was growing up. The story plot is fantastic, the songs are beautiful, the whole movie is amazing from start to finish. If you have children, buy this movie, for it's sure to be a family favourite. And if you don't, buy the movie anyways! It's a wonderful movie for people of any age.

Summary: Very beautiful, gentle nature story
Review: Well, I'll just be brief with this one.
Synopsis:Zach, a 15-20 year old city boy comes to work for a deforestation company in the rainforest. A fairy, Chrysta, falls upon him by chance and to save his life, she attempts to give him fairy SIGHT, but ends up giving him fairy SIZE. Once Zack begins to explore the beautiful world of Fern Gully, he sees a side to nature that must be preserved. All of this is threatened though by Hexxus, an evil spirit that feeds on pollution.
Cons: A very overly pretty boy characters...but that's not always bad. An almost irritatingly naive female character, a shrinking violet a lot of times. Magic that unfortunately doesn't exist.
Pros: A good story to get across without being boring, dreary, or scary although a lot of people said that Hexxus terrified them. Batty Koda! Robin Williams plays the character of the brain scrambled bat very well and adds humor to the movie. Very sweet little movie to teach children about the destruction of the rainforest.
Overall: It's quite worth buying. A very charming movie for all ages, Fern Gully will help people to see another side to the rainforest while, not exactly realistic, is very lovable and lively. Enjoyable.

Summary: A Great Move For Kids And Adults.
Review: What is different about this movie that takes place in the rainforest is that it shows us that if were not careful, we can do serious damage to many living things. I think this a movie we can all cheere for.

Summary: fern gully a, masterpiece
Review: When I first saw this film I was charmed by the charectors
and strucked by the subject manner. I find it goes right to the
heart of what nature means to us. Children and adults should see
it,it will give them an insight of what we loose when we take and
not give back to nature.
Crystals nieveness of the world around her is in a sense of
what we are like. Then when she sees the full truth and is able
to show Zak it, well that is what adults must do for thier
children if we are ever going to keep this world clean and fresh
for thier future.
I let my two nieces watch it,and then thru some pleaded on
thier part I let them take it home. Two years latter they still have it and still are enjoying it.
A movie does not have to be a blockbuster,it can be something so simple and enjoyeble to be a big hit with young and
old both
