Summary: I nearly choked to death laffing
Review: The tv show is good, but all the people that think its edgy or hardcore or wtf ever, ya aint seen nuthin yet. The focus of the movie seems to be cursing alot, which is great, and youll be surprised how quickly you adapt to the characters tossing about the eff word in casual conversation. There is so much unbelievably funny stuff in this movie, im laughing my derriere off now just thinking about it...the highlights have got to be the lucifer/hussein tryst and discovery off Cartman's mother's German porn career....I got kinda depressed after i finished watching it because it dawned on me i couldnt go rent the sequel......anyway, the TY show is about 1/20 as funny as this, except this is the real deal, if ya catch my meaning.

Summary: Take this Motion Picture Association of America
Review: South Park is one of the greatest movies ever made. Take all the humor in every episode of the show and multiply by 1000, and you might be able to compare it to the movie. The show was starting to lose me, but the movie pulled me right back. And don't listen to anyone who says that there is too much foul language. The excess in language is the point of the movie. When the MPAA reviewed the movie, they had no problem with any of the extreme violence or gore, but instead felt that a few dirty words needed to be removed. This rediculous position of the United States is the satire, and reason for this movie. So if you complain about the language you are just too stupid too see past it and understand its purpose. See South Park. And then, watch it 100 more times. And after you watch South Park, go and rent Orgazmo, another hilarious Trey Parker movie about a Mormon Porn Star. Another 5 star classic.

Summary: YOU MUST BE JOKING!
Review: This movie is actually quite hilarious if you are a South Park fan like me but If you honestly think that anyone out there would actually pay 103.00 for the South Park movie you must be crazy.

Summary: This is not for kids!
Review: I watched this movie. This movie is really funny. The only problem is the swearing there is lots and lots of swearing. I really do not recomend kids to see this movie at all. Thank you for listening

Summary: Don't tell anyone that I loved it!
Review: I spend most of the movie blinded by tears streaming down my cheeks. Definately for a younger crowd (or young at heart). Totally irreverent, and spares no one. It was the funniest movie that I have ever seen. The only thing that I didn't like was all the singing. But even some of that was hilarious.

Summary: Can You See Beyond the Surface?
Review: While South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut is offensive to various groups and individuals, the movie must be viewed differently if it is to be appreciated. The viewer has to look past all the swearing and imagery that seems so terrible and understand the implied message. All the social, political, religious, and racist commentary is part of our culture; the creators of this film are bringing this to the surface in the "quiet, little redneck, mountain town." To become angry at these aspects of society is to deny their existence; and to deny their existence is to create more problems. There is nothing wrong with laughing at ideas that are taboo, for dealing with social dysfunctions through laughter can help to lead to their solutions.

Summary: Great Movie, fair DVD
Review: When I saw South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut in the theatres, I was impressed. While the usual graphics are admittedly crude, and expletives free and easy, the plot was clever and, like the series, the writers stretched the line of good taste past the critical point, but not too far that I was personally uncomfortable. Kenny's role in the movie is hysterical, as is the subversive relationship between Satan and Saddam Hussin. The movies largest asset is its post modern self awareness; in many respects this movie is about its own struggles to be produced and released despite criticism about its content from outside groups; the issues of free speech that it brings out are important, and the usual South Park fans will be amenable to that message.

About the DVD, however, I was a little disappointed. The only extras were the (horribly funny) trailers, and the only dubbed language is French (although it is funny to watch it in French with English subtitles). I wanted a little more bang for my buck - at least the making of South Park, or an interview with Terrance and Phillip. Instead, all I got was a great movie, and the "Uncle *****" song small screen - that is the usual stomping ground for the kids anyway, right? If you are any kind of South Park fan, this should be on your shelf.

Summary: A cleverly done musical from two goof balls
Review: For those of you that are in to musicals or those of you who are music majors, this is a must see. Although vulgar and racist, the creators of south park have developed a highly intelligent musical. The orchestration came out of nowhere as a complete surprise. I watched it with my music buds and we could not get over how well it was done. It was actually scary how well. The only draw back is that if there are little ones around, ya might want them to leave. I think the f-bomb gets dropped about a hundred times or more. Oh and if you are really proud of your culture no matter what it is, you may be offended; they try to get everybody. These guys are out to destroy political correctness and I commend them for that. So on that note, watch or don't watch it's your life. p.s. If you've never seen the show before and don't know what to expect, I would recomend finding some copies of the show to warm you up, for those of you who love SP; you already know its a great movie.

Summary: Not NEARLY as funny as the show normally is
Review: I wanted to love this movie, I love most every episode of the tv show. There were definitely some VERY funny parts, but they were few and far between.

Summary: Genius
Review: This movie takes all of society's politically correct garbage and puts it in its rightful place - the trash. This brilliant musical with the South Park characters tells it like it really is. Poking fun at censorship, racism, religion, Les Mis, and Saddam Hussein along with other topics too numerous to mention, this movie will have you crying from laughter. If you have any type of education (and sense of humor) you can't help but appreciate the movie not only for it's over the top antics but it's well thought out message(s) and underlying themes.

However, if you are easily offended by cursing or can't handle reality stay as far away as possible and go back to the mindless safety of Disney.
