Rating: Summary: Not worth it Review: I enjoyed the Professional:Golgo 13 enough to buy this on DVD. Please be aware of the fact that this film is only 60 minutes long if you are considering buying it. I stupidly did not check that detail before my purchase. This film is decent enough. If you are a fan of the first film it is not a complete waste of time. But, it is not nearly as interesting as the first in my opinion, in that it seems more like a watered down version of the Professional. The interaction between the Queen Bee and Golgo is similar enough to his assignment on the rich heiress of the first one to not feel that new, and the psychotic ex marine killer is not nearly as fun to watch as Silver&Gold or Snake from the first. Definately not worth the $..., maybe if it sold for cheaper and you had to complete your collection.
Rating: Summary: WASTE OF MONEY! Review: i hated this video so much that i would have given it only 1/2 a star. its okay to have 1 or maybe even two adult scenes but they completely overdoit here!the only reason i would give this half a star is because i like the idea that people are trying to renew the old anime and some of it is pretty dam gud.the plot is sort of unclear but maybe its just that i havent watched it in a few weeks.id say this is for the people who like the old japanese moovees with alot of "those type"of scenes, ( Why did I put those words in quotes? i don't know) im not saying those kind of people are bad, heck i have a friend just like that, i guess its just not for me. i would rather have my money back and return this movie.

Rating: Summary: YUCK !!!!!!!!!!!! Review: I have to say that if you are just getting into anime, never, and i repeat- never watch this movie. While it may have a plot it is full of pointless sex and violence, chinzty music, and terrible animation. My friends and I watched it together and we couldn't even enjoy making fun of it; it was so bad. I'm sorry, but they have to do better than that.
Rating: Summary: Don't listen to anything else, This movie is great. Review: I've seen both Golgo 13s, and I enjoyed Queen Bee just as much as The Professional. I am a big Golgo 13 fan. I grew sideburns because of Golgo. Really I did and I still have them. Queen Bee is a little different from The Professional because it's more romantic and emotionally involved whereas the The Pro. is just Golgo plowing through whatever and whoever. And I don't know why the storyline is being reviewed as "cliche", I never saw a story like this. You have to watch the movie twice to get all of it.
Here's the bottom line. I was able to get my girlfriend to sit down and watch this with me. I'm writing this review on her account. She was convinced that she wouldn't like it b/c anime is for depraved Dungeons and Dragons rejects. There is no way she would watch and enjoy The Professional. But she liked this very much And I didn't look like a Star Wars geek. And I got laid. This movie is great.
Rating: Summary: GOLGO 13 needs to meet CRYING FREEMAN. Review: I'VE SEEN THIS MOVIE. IT'S QUITE TRAGIC IN THE END. IF YOU HAVE AN IMAGINATION FOR HONOR TO THE HIGHEST DEGREE, MURDER , AND MAYHEM, YOU SHOULD GO FOR IT. BUT I'D LIKE TO SEE HIM AGAINST CRYING FREEMAN FOR BRAGGING PURPOSES. OVERALL THE MOVIES ISN'T BAD AT ALL. THEY NEED TO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
Rating: Summary: Weak and disappointing. Review: If you saw "Golgo 13: The Professional," er even if you played the watered down NES games, and you're hoping for more of the same, look elsewhere. This movie lacks the storyline, style, and appeal of the original, instad going for an anime-sex overload, with a few exploding heads for flavor.
Rating: Summary: Not bad,but nowhere near "The Professional". Review: It's been awhile since the last Golgo 13 anime, and he is back. This is much shorter than the old Professional:Golgo 13,and the movie isn't as unique or interesting. The overall plot is kinda nifty, but at times it felt too much like an uninspired Rambo-type movie. No cool enemies this time
Rating: Summary: After so many years, is this the best they can do? Review: Next to the mind-blowing Ninja Scroll, The Proffesional is my favorite anime. Since I saw it only a week before Queen Bee, I wasn't nearly half as disappointed as the other reviewers who (poor souls) must have waited for the better part of a decade for more stories of the greatest anti-hero in the history of Japanese animation. This "follow-up" retains the action, gore, and eroticism of the Proffesional. The tragic theme of a man's ambition bringing the ruin of his family is repeated. I was particularly interested in the conclusion which further explored the depths of Duke's bull-headed obsession with meeting the terms of his contract in the name of some archaic form of honor. Sadly, this is only a watered-down version of it's classic predecessor. What really disturbed me was Duke's new voice actor. A Barry White sound-alike?! What were they smoking?
Rating: Summary: Duke Togo has just been shot Down Review: Queen who? Could this be the end of Golgo 13? Movie wise, I think so. This movie lacked everthing the original was. The animation was better than the origianl in some aspects. What was up with the music. Surely better music could have been dug up. (How about a hyped up version of the NES game music)What was with the story? Anyone could have created a better script than that. If this movie did not contain Golgo 13, it would have gotten no stars!
