Summary: The best cartoon movie that I have seen yet!
Review: It was the best cartoon movie that I have seen yet.It showed all of the details like blood and things like that, unlike Dragon Ball Z movies. It was a lot better than any other serious cartoon movies too.

Summary: Wow! This really is that bad!
Review: To everyone on this list who is convinced that this is a great film, let me suggest that you try Macross Plus, Ghost in the Shell, or the eternal Akira. If you want great martial arts, look no further than Ruronui Kenshin or Hakkenden. As for this one...just stack all the movies that you are going to watch on top of it.

Summary: A Travesty...
Review: I don't care what Carl did with Mospeada, Southern Cross, or Macross after I've seen this. In an attempt to bring over one of Japan's most classic animé movies, Carl Macek has completely destroyed the magic of it. His bastardization of "Hokuto No Ken" has resulted in him taking out one of the most integral parts of the story: the mysticism and history behind the art of Hokutoshinken. The original series and movie has a rich, deep history, and NONE of it made it through in the American reproduction. What's saddening is that the movie now seems to be aimed at a specific audience, i.e. your average, low-brow American teenager. "Oh wow, look, he exploded and you can see his guts... ha ha..." The way I remembered it, Hokuto No Ken had clear cut morals to it's story, and the violence came across as just another grim reality in post-apocolyptic Earth. There's also the fact that Macek has not only taken out every single bit of history in the movie, but also every Asian reference in it (which prompts me to ask the question, "why Carl? I thought you *loved* Japan...") There is no mention of "the art of Hokutoshinken, or Nantoseiken." At least, the even worse live action movie (with that one British guy as Kenshiro... who is supposed to be Japanese... i think...)made an attempt to mention "Nantoseiken." Then, there's the fact that he's gipped us out of the REAL, honest to God ending.

Summary: An Excellent Anime
Review: In response to the pyro maniac above I have to say that you sir deffinantly to need take some medication. I personally thought that the movie was good. If for no other reason then that it blows away any other anime Ive ever seen as far as blood and violence. Personally I think Ninja Scrolls is the anime master piece, but Fist isn't all that bad. You really need to seek medical help if you feel the need to burn the movie.

Summary: a no-brainer movie.
