Summary: Whoopie!
Review: When I first seen an ad for this series I thought it would stupid. How wrong I was. Trigun has plenty to offer everyone. Action, cool characters, comedy, romance, and everything else but singing elephants (but who wants that anyway?).

Summary: Impressive. Don't be fooled...
Review: If you plan on watching this series in its entirety, do NOT be misled that it is all light and frivolous. The first episodes are a delightful grabber, but then as the series progresses, it darkens considerably as many anime series do. (A well-known example is Cowboy Bebop.) Don't get me wrong, Trigun is still an excellent anime, but don't think that it's all fun and games either. As I say for my anime reviews, I urge you to obtain a Japanese version with English subtitles. If you can't play DVDs, please do NOT purchase the English VHS. From an anime purist, respect the voice actors.

Summary: ONE OF THE BEST
Review: This is by far one of the best anime shows I have seen.

Here's the plot in a nutshell:

On the planet Gunsmoke, there is a ruthless criminal called Vash the Stampede. He's powerful enough to destroy whole cities in one shot. Two insurance agents, Millie Thompson and Meryl Streep, are trying to find him and make him pay for all the damage he has done.

The rest of the story unravels in the later episodes, so i won't ruin it for all you anime fans.

In the first four episodes, the cast is introduced and the adventures begin with a misunderstanding of who is Vash.

The story is very well written, and there are many humorous points in the story with the hero Vash.

If you also want a good soundtrack, Trigun provides. Trigun has many western sounding songs, but it also has a slow song or two and a few fast paced songs.

I loved this show for all the reasons stated above. The story is great, the characters are great, and the music is great. I have the whole series, so I can tell you that it's worth it. I have watched the series many times and it became better every time.

In closing, if your in the mood for an action anime with comedy, this is a winner. You might want to get the box set because otherwise you'll be hanging in suspense, wondering what our heroes will run into next.

For the parents out there, this anime is rated 13+(for many gunfights, language, and some violence and blood).

Summary: AAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Hehe......Trigun is absolutely HILARIOUS!

My experiance with Trigun: Well, I've only seen this first one, but since it's the one I'm reviewing, it's ok :) Well, the first few minutes may seem quite serious (I was really wondering why my HUMOR LOVING friend was making me watch it).....but then it got funny! For the rest of the episodes, I was cracking up every other minute!

About the video: This was a really great video, with really great episodes :) :P I think it had 4 (episodes, I mean....4 EPISODES) ^^;;

About the episodes: It begins with Vash in a bar......listening to 2 guys talk about him. Except they were calling him "The Humanoid Typhoon" and such. From this, you get a very scary image of Vash O_o Well, anyway, the rest of the episode is about Vash being captured. Heh, that's also about when you'll start cracking up :P Not to long after Vash gets captured, 2 of our other main cast (Meryl & Milly) come along and accidentally rescue him!(well THEY didn't really RESCUE him....). And besides, they thought the person who had CAPTURED him was Vash.....they didn't think the dorky captured dude was him :P Anywho.....then, THEY got captured. Puh! What's an idiotic dorky (though kinda cute) "Humanoid Typhoon" to do?

Well I'd tell you about the other episodes, but I can't tell you because then you'll know a bit of the end of the first one!!!!!! Heh....and I REALLY don't wanna spoil a great video like this :) Oh, and just FYI, I usually don't really like dubbed animes........but this was great! You TOTALLY thought of the Vash actor as Vash!

LOVE AND PEACE

Summary: Great buy
Review: I bought this because it looked and sounded good. I never seen it before. I thought I would take a gamble. I was glad I did. It has comdey, gun play, and very little cursing. It is rated 13 and up. I would guess for the shooting. Enjoy.

Summary: LOVE AND PEACE!!!
Review: Trigun has it all: the looks, the laughs, then unknown! o_O I own the boxed set and I find the animation and characters quite appealing. Each one has a unique and memorable personality as well as a large part in the series...even if it is the useless black cat in the background =^^= Buy Trigun!!! You'll never regret it!

Summary: A fun, comics-like series
Review: I have seen all 26 episodes of Trigun and can honestly say this series is a lot of fun to watch. It tells the story of Vash the Stampede, a good-hearted, highly moral character who refuses to kill anyone and somehow manages to help people who have lost their hopes regain them.
The action and storyline in Trigun are comics-like, meaning that although blood drawn sometimes the action is so over the top and inhuman that one cannot really be shocked by it. It's still fun to watch. The storyline (as it becomes revealed) also seems like taken from some comics-book, but is still effective and will easily hook anyone who is not overly critical of such things.
Structure-wise, this series is an odd one. The first 4 episodes are unrelated and mostly comical. The series starts getting a linear storyline in episode 5. The second most important character, Nicholas D. Wolfwood, doesn't make its appearance until about episode 8, and the real storyline doesn't get revealed until about the 11th episode. Considering there are only 26 one would think this to be an odd layout but it seems to work. However, viewers who spend their hard earned money on this series are bound to be just a little frustrated, but eventually this frustration will wear out and you will be left with an excellent series.
The characters in this series are very moral, but not in a condescending sort of way. It would take a complete cynic to dislike Vash the Stampede because he refuses to kill. Even if later on his reasons turned out to be a bit childish (in my eyes), I still couldn't help but like him. Vash the Stampede is definitely a very compelling character, as are the other three. I disliked Millie Thompson at the beginning for
her shrill voice (I watched it in Japanese) but towards the end my opinions changed completely, as will yours.
Whoever will follow this series until its end will surely be rewarded by it. The last four or so chapters are, I think, so well crafted that one forgives the entire series for whatever misgivings it had previously and becomes an instant fan.
For people who have just watched the first disc, or are about to, I have only one thing to say: whatever you see on this disc is in complete reverse to what you'll see in the last disc; meaning the series becomes less comic, more action filled and much more serious as it progresses. In other words: give it a chance. I would definitely recommend waiting at least until episode 8 with Nicholas D. Wolfwood before passing judgement. It will be worth your while.

Summary: Just right
Review: Many people who try this anime say they are surprised but pleased with the light tone. Most expected just action and blood. Let me tell you, the creators made it just right. The earlier episodes alternate between action and amusement and keep you guessing for awhile.

However, be warned that there is far more to it than that. As the series progresses, more ideas and conflicts about morals will come up, and more people will be hurt. But just when things might get quite heavy, there is always some humor; however it is never garish and strikes just the right note.

This is an excellent anime which is actually about something... definitely watch it if you ever wonder about the morality of taking a life to save others--or about war--or crime--or guns--or really anything involving people being hurt.

Summary: Bait and switch!
Review: Generally, I don't like silly anime too much. I kept telling myself that this first disc annoyed me, even though I kept catching myself laughing out loud. And occasionally, there was the flash of something that made me say, wait a minute, this goofball shouldn't have been able to do that....should he?

Yes, this first disc is mostly silly comedy relieved by fast-moving but lighthearted action scenes. But see, that's how they rope you in. As the series progresses in the later discs, it can't be emphasized enough that this isn't, after all, a comedy...just as Vash himself is more than that goofy facade he cultivates to fool the unwary.

After this disc, I had to go on the 'Net and see if it was worth it to keep watching, so I read all the spoilers and knew the entire story ahead of time. And the last DVD of this series *still* left me stunned at the emotional impact of all four episodes. Just....stunned.

In a nutshell: If you like comedic anime, this first disc is probably a good bet. If you like dramatic anime, stick it out: it gets better and keeps on going.

(The reason Trigun didn't get that fifth star: I'd have like some better development of the Gung-ho Guns. They come off as toss-off villians of the week, even though they do have a purpose in the context of the story. From what I've seen, they've got a bit more backstory in the manga. Personal preference.)

Summary: OMFG!
Review: This is the coolest anime in the whole world with Lain, Magic Knights Rayearth, and such.

I thought this plot was so awesome! A comical westurn with a bounty upon this IDIOT'S head. ^^ I quite enjoy it.
