Summary: This movie is the best of them all!
Review: To me, this is my favorite Sailormoon movie! The romantic plot line was so cute! This movie is funny, cheery, and sad! After seeing this movie, Luna became my favorite good character in the whole series!

Summary: My Favorite Animated Movie...
Review: Not only is Sailormoon my favorite show, this movie is also the best I've seen, and I don't understand why some people think that subtitles are stupid. C'mon, it's MUCH better then watching the dub episodes. Maybe your just too embarressed to watch it because the words don't stay up on the screen long enough for you to read it!! Okay, um... anyway, this is a wonderful movie that everyone should watch, but it does have some nudiy tho... (Ice Queen and henshin (transformations). Ja ne!

Summary: The sweetest sailor moon movie
Review: The storyline was great, and romantic. Luna as a human was adorable. She falls in love with this totally cute scientist. The three other senshi are in it. So this will probably be the first time many fans are introduced. Few fighting scenes, but the plot makes up for it. If you like sailor moon please buy this movie.

Summary: This movie is a real good one to get all you fans!
Review: Believe me. Once you watch this movie, you will fall in love with it. You will also start to want more videos because oyu can't have enough of it. It is a story with Luna and a scientist names Kakeru, well, that was the name in the Japenese format. I am not sure in dubbed. It has a great story with an Ice Princess from another Galaxy. It has all of the outers except Sailor Saturn. I recomend that you get the R movie first before you buy this video, though. Just to know the story more.

Summary: A Good Sailor Moon Movie
Review: This is a good movie for any person to watch. I has action, romance, and comady. It has the Outer Scouts. All the Sailor Scouts Transformation. Even though this movie has a little bit of nudity and some boring parts I am going to buy it when it gets on the market but buy The Sailor Moon SuperS Movie first. BYE BYE

Summary: A Rival of the Original Japanese Edition
Review: Sailor Moon S is the second movie, originally released as a "New Year's Special" in theaters in 1994. It runs less than 60 minutes and was based upon a special story created by Naoko Takeuchi, the author of Sailor Moon. A slightly different manga version is available.

The pace of this movie is slower than the first or third movies, but there are positive points, such as the gags and Luna's human transformation scene. Luna's vision of an "elegant" Usagi is always good for laughs. As always, the animation is of higher quality than the TV series. However, the Japanese ending theme song is probably the worst out of all three movies for me, probably because it's slow and not catchy like R's.

The original Japanese track with voice actors like Mitsuishi Kotono and Keiko Han are superb as always, and the subtitles are actually very high quality. The English dub is what you can expect from any English dub (not great), but since the American TV voice actors are used, at least there are no surprises. Luna's "Angela Lansbury" voice is certainly a disappointment, since the human Luna is supposed to be around 13 years old.

Although the Sailor Moon S Movie is my least favorite of the three movies, Pioneer has done a wonderful job with the world's first DVD edition. Apparently Japan will not be releasing the DVDs anytime soon, if ever.

For fans that were not able to get the original Japanese laserdisc, this is the next best thing, if not better. Being unedited, the movie is shown in its entirety and without any changes done to the animation. Even the original Japanese credits have been included. The disc is catered to the fans of the original Japanese series, using the character's original names in the cast info section and the Japanese voice actors/actresses are listed first with matching characters. The American voice actors are listed as a clump at the end of the credits.

Perhaps the only noticeable exclusions are the non-credited opening/ending and the trailers/TV commercials.

However, the DVD makes up for it by having a non-letterboxed version. How is this better? Unlike usual pan and scan versions of movies, Sailor Moon S (and the previous R DVD) shows more picture at the top and bottom of the screen. If you have the original Japanese versions, make a comparison and you will see what you have been missing.

Summary: Great Sailor Moon
Review: Such a cute and touching tale. Luna falls head over heals in love...not for Artemis (sorry man) but for a scientist. Guess she likes the intellectual types...especially when they save her life. Although love is in bloom in december, the scouts have a new problem and enemy on their hands. an evil ice queen is trying to freeze over the entire earth and add it to her collection of frozen planets...immediatly the scouts step up to meet the threat...but the only way to defeat her is my the legendary silver crystal power of love and friendship....will sailor moon use the silver crystal and forfeit her life to save the planet? Not if the scouts can help it!

Okay, thats a brief summary of the basic plot...but there is so muchmore to say about it, but sadly that would take up an entire page...not to mention i dont want to give away what will happen or what comes of Luna's new love. But here are some tasty tid-bits...THIS IS THE ONLY ANIMATED SAILOR MOON WHERE YOU WILL SEE LUNA IN HER HUMAN FORM...thats right...Luna goes homo-sapien and it gets better...not only are the original scouts in this movie...but so are sailor neptune, uranus, and pluto! The outer senshi fight along side our favorite sailors! Not too mention this plot is so enticing it literally sucks you in full force with suspense and action...making you sit on the edge of your seat wondering..."will luna get with her new fling....will artemis be able to steal her back...and will the scouts succeed in their endeavors?"

Here are some feature of the disk you may like to know
-Bi-lingual English and Japanese
-English subtitles
-Art galleries
-Character Profiles
-Uncut
-And more!

Running time is approx. 60 minutes with a 13+ rating, mostly due to violent fighting in the last battel scene, and seeing Luna a bit nude when she turns into a human. One note on the last battel scene, i believe it to be one of the best battle scenes ever made in sailor moon...it gets viloent and downright mean as it should...so of your into good battles....this is one of the best.
