Summary: A Bug's Life: Pixar does it again!
Review: The story-tellers at Pixar (and Disney) do it again. A Bug's Life is a winner. Fun story. Great characters. Stunning animation and visuals.

The DVD is gorgeous and includes both the new re-framed full screen version and the original theatrical widescreen version. (The few 16:9 television owners out there will be disappointed that the widescreen version is not anamorphic.)

This is the first theatrical film mastered to DVD directly from the digital source; it never touched film, so no telecine process was necessary. It's definitely a reference standard DVD.

The disc includes the "bloopers" from both theatrical releases -- and the wonderful Academy Award winning "Geri's Game" short. Sorry, no trailer. (But it's still slightly better than we normally get with Disney's annoying feature-less DVD fare.)

Summary: Great for children and adults of all ages!
Review: It's a wonderful story about sticking together and believing in oneself with an underlying theme of determination and preserverence. I'm going to purchase it for myself and my little one. Tha animation is awesome and the charater profiles are funny, entertaining and relatible

Summary: Great DVD experience for the whole family
Review: This picture was great at the theater but was even better at home on the DVD. It's a must have for the whole family to keep enjoying over and over again.

Summary: BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR
Review: I loved this movie. A BUG'S LIFE shows how if you have the hope and strenght you can do anything. I thought the part that really showed Flik's strength was when he spoke back to Hopper. The thrid time I saw it in theaters, I came out laugging. I stade for the bloopers. Some parts I started to cry other times I was laugging.

Summary: Cute movie but expected better from Disney and Pixar
Review: A Bug's Life was a cute movie but I expected more from the collaboration efforts of Disney and Pixar. It lacked the musical majesty of previous Disney movies such as The Little Mermaid and Beauty and The Beast. My children, ages 3 and 4 enjoyed it but it was to simplistic for the adult viewer.

Summary: Excellent for all family members!
Review: I took my kids to the movie at the theatre but I think I bought the video for me! I find myself watching this movie more than they do. This is a great story of triumph. The animation is fantastic. A must see for all ages!!!!!!!
