Summary: THOUGHT-PROVOKING ENTERTAINMENT
Review: Get the DVD, the video is not great quality. The movie is rated PG, which means DON'T show it to your toddlers. A battle scene is as scary as the wicked witch in Disney's animated "Cinderella," one character says "Dammit!" (oh, my gracious! the d word!), and the movie has a relatively sophisticated theme (individualism is the foundation of a viable society). Smart and hip, "Antz" isn't for the "Telly Tubby" crowd - DON'T get it for your 2-year-old to watch again and again, unless your 2-year-old watches "The Simpsons" again and again. Spectacular story, cast, and animation. For thinking people 11 years old and up, mainly for adults craving intelligent entertainment!

Summary: Funny, a good storyline and an excellent soundtrack
Review: Wondering whether to buy A Bug's Life or Antz? Ignore the critics and get Antz! A Bug's Life may be technically superior, but Antz is wittier, not as twee (read 'Disney'), has a better soundtrack and a better storyline. And that's what a film is about, imho, not whether it's a technical marvel or not.

Review: I like Ants thank you veary much ! I like the part where Princess Bala says ," I'm the princess , dament!" That was a little funny ! I've seen this movie over three thousand times ! I also like the begening , but I can't tell you at what part because you probley haven't seen it before and I hate to give away the beginning and the ending , it'll spoail the surprise !

Summary: An enjoyable animated piece
Review: Destined to be a classic, Antz has the star power that many big films have. Unlike the big films though, Antz has a charm and sophistication that one can't help but watch. I do not care for any other films with Woody Allen because I find him too annoying in them, but this one he actually has style and grace. Sly Stallone makes an impressive vocal for the largest and strongest soldier ant in the movie, who probably, also, has more heart than the others. At least, he means well. The film almost wants to make you watch where you step, ALMOST. GRADE: B

Summary: A Good Film
Review: Perhaps I differ from others, but I found this to be quite a good movie (and I am a very honest critic). It was creative, entertaining, funny, and featured nice animation. Most of the humor is best understood by adults, which was satisfying. No, it was not a perfect film--but then, how many are? The truth is, this is a worthwhile, funny movie, and in my opinion it has been treated unfairly by many critics. See it for yourself and decide. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Sidenote: it was much better than 'A Bug's Life'.

Summary: Why analyse it that much? (Haven't seen it yet)
Review: I've read through the reviews and my personal upinion is: why do people have to go through all this ethic and individualism-talk? Why can't they just see a movie to get entertained and not analyse the poor thing so deeply. I rate it five stars because I don't judge in advance. I just wanted to make my voice heard. But I do believe it is good!

Summary: Disappointing
Review: Great graphics. But come on--it's the nineties. Everyone has great graphics. No, I couldn't stand the movie. It's not tasteful for the adult viewer, and it's totally inappropriate for younger viewers. I'd give it a low score on all counts. The plot was self-righteously mundane, the humor was crude, and the rampant swearing added nothing.
