Summary: haunted junction
Review: i have to say i found this dvd really great, it is something i watch time and time again with friends all of which so far like it. it is based in saito high a school full of ghosts including the 7 school spirits which the story is based. it has fantasic humor as a light hearted comady. i was disapointed to find out they relesed no more but thinking about it if they did it would spoil it as there is really nothing more they can do, i would not hesitate to recomend it to anyone with a love for humor

Summary: Ghostly laughs
Review: I liked that this was a funny anime, however I felt that the girl liking younger boys (12 and younger) was totally gross. I don't know if it was done for laughs or what. But I did like the Council President and the boy, kazumi, who gets posessed by spirits of dead animals. I thought that was totally hilarious. I would not recommend this series for children, but for teenagers and older, sure. Also, on another bad note, I hated that this anime only came in english subtitles or original japanese language. I would have laughed more if I didn't have to read the dubbing instead of watching the screen where the action was taking place between the three main characters and the ghosts.

Summary: Ghosts with Class!
Review: I loved this series! It's short, with only 12 episodes, but it'll keep you laughing! The DVD version is only Japanese language with or without English subtitles. (As opposed to having both Japanese and English language tracks.) AT least in a few places the "jokes" which are Japanese puns are actually explained in the subtitles.. which makes them even funnier! Defintely a good one to get if you like ghostly humor! It's a lot less "tame" with some sexual content that might not be as amusing to a more "conservative" lot, but I laughed all the same!

Summary: Haunted Junction - DVD Collection
Review: I think that titles of Bandai Entertainment are comparatively reliable. Most of all, the price of this title is quite reasonable. This title has all 12 episodes in two disks. Nevertheless, the quality of video is not bad. Generally, looks like good title. If you are a fan of Ranma 1/2 or Urusei Yatsura, you can enjoy this.

Summary: Charming!
Review: It's a high school comedy about a student council charged with the management of the school's ghosts. It's a parody of ghostly genres and anime in general. It's a non-stop feast of gross puns, physical comedy, and absurd plots. It's a story of a group of misfits who probably wouldn't get along very well with other students but find, in the end, that the people and ghosts with whom they constantly argue have become their most trusted and accepting companions and they find that they truly believe in one another. It's very funny and very touching.

Summary: Kawaii, but lacks depth...
Review: Not totally my cup of tea, though it was cute and sweet. The animation was so-so, and the music was alright (the bgm isn't that great, but the opening and closing themes are pretty good), and it had a good, origianl base for a story, but it lacked depth. It also seemed to be detached, as if it were a child playing a game where he kept changing the rules to suit hisself. Most of the episodes are like one-shot stories, almost, which would be okay if the series were longer....but it left no time for character or story development. It did have a number of funny moments, though. It's one of those series that gradually gets better as the end approaches. It's a good deal though, i mean, all 12 episodes in one set for about $40. I was just disappointed that it had no dubbed version, like most anime dvd's...this dvd only offered japanese with subtitles. this didn't upset me too much, though, because i prefer subs....but it might frustrate dub fans. but, i'd say it was enjoyable to watch, and was all around rather entertaining. I would have liked to give it 3 1/2 stars, but its not an option....*OH MY GOD!*

Summary: The Most Hilarious thing I've seen in a While
Review: Now a lot of people might kill me for saying this, but this seriously is one good show. My friends hate it because when they watch Anime, they're looking for something really deep, not slapstick brainless fun. So if you are like them, looking for something hartdcore, with a message and tons of action, or as in lain, tons of mystery, stay away from this. If you're like me, and enjoy anime of all sorts, then this is a must buy. They really don't pull any stops. There is a lady with the female version of the Lolita complex ( i.e. she only goes for boys twelve years old or younger). A womanizing idiot, who loves what seems to be a race of beautiful women, the Hanakos, the craziest assortment of ghosts, including the school chairman, and in the middle of all this, a blond blue eyed guy who wants nothing but a normal school life. they pull no punches, and the situations get weirder and weirder. my only complaint about this series is the fact that the last two episodes are way out of character, with the whole cast being super serious. When your supposed to be slapstick, you should be slapstick all the way. but, this only retracts about half a star, so rounding it off would still give five.

Summary: Oh Boy.......!
Review: The only word to describe Haunted Junction is weird. The story envolves three high school students that are members of the Holy Student Council, who keeps all of the school spirits in the high school under control. Well, to make things stranger, the school spirits are a girl who lives in the bathroom and flirts with boys, a little girl in a mirror, a living model of the human body and his skeleton side kick, a giant who lives in the gym, a man who is so handsom he can make any girl faint, a statue of a little boy that comes alive, and a mad chairman who collects occult items. The basic story line from there is the Holy Students Council's adventures while trying tho keep the spirits under control. In my opinion, the animation is pretty good, and the story is funny. In fact, there are no problems with the series at all except that many people do not like it. If you don't like messed up and insane anime comedies, this is not for you. But if you do, you are in for a treat!

Summary: A great series, questionable DVD
Review: This is a farely good anime comedy series. Lots of ghosts and laughs that take place within a High School all on one 2-disc set. The DVD however is kinda poor. First off, there is no English version. Only Japanese with subtitles. I'm not one to complain about this, but this makes many a victim in the dubbing versus subtitle war. Extras include character biographies, but thats about it. Anyway, even if this DVD isn't at full potenetial, its still a great value for 12 episodes. However, if you haven't seen it yet, I recommend seeing a VHS version first and then decide on this DVD. Its far from Scooby Doo. Trust me.
