Summary: Great Movie for Tenchi fans!!
Review: I really think that this movie is great, especially for all Tenchi Muyo! fans, like myself. I own it, and can't stop watching it over and over again. Other than the third Tenchi movie, Tenchi Forever, I think this one is the best. It shows a lot of what most of the characters are really feeling, and that's what I like about any movie. Anyway, I would recommend this movie to any fan of Tenchi Muyo!

Summary: hmmmmmm Not exactly what I was looking for
Review: Well, this is what I call an "Interesting manga" slightly strange and had nothing to do with the Usual tenchi and gang so that cheezed me off a little bit. It's about this girl, thing a mijig who beileves she is Tenchi's daughter, like i said strange. If you're really into tenchi stuff that follows the story you might want to try something different. But if your're into strange blue haired girls and evil gigantic stuffed animals you might like this.

Summary: No Need for a daughter!
Review: A peaceful summer day starts out normally. Then, a pretty girl named Mayuka shows up and calls Tenchi Masaki daddy. Of course, Ryoko and the other women at the Masaki household is a bit miffed of this news. Mayuka is sent to kidnap Tenchi by a demon called Yuzuha who has a grudge on Yosho for 700 years! The DVD includes the Japanse version of the movie, along with English subtittles. Tenchi 2 is somewhat more violent than the first movie.

Summary: Pass this one up
Review: I own this one. I bought the first and second Tenchi Muyo movies and a friend gave me the third one. So I have seen all the movies. I have to say that Tenchi Forever is the best one in the series!
This particular movie didn't really make much sense to me. It got completely off the track of what Tenchi is really about. I would say pass on this one. Watch Tenchi Forever the last in the series because it is the most relevant for any Tenchi fan. I give this two stars just because at least Tenchi and all the gang were in it.

Summary: I LOVE THIS!
Review: This movie is indeed rated 12 and up, for obvious reasons. It all started out when Tenchi was outside. He was walking along the steps, when suddenly, he noticed a girl was sitting there, and she called him ,"Daddy!" When he comes home with this girl, Ayeka and Ryoko are mad, because they think she is his girlfriend. They argue alot of times with her, and later find out she has extremely powerful powers. She is destroyed close to the end, and is reborn as a baby. I think this movie was very cute, and sweet.

Summary: Great movie!
Review: Tenchi Muyo:Manastu no Eve(aka Tenchi the Movie 2:The Daughter of Darkness)is not as good as the first Tenchi movie(Tecnhi Muyo in Love), but it's a good movie. It has the dubbed and subbed version plus it has English and Japanese subtitles. The extras are okay(only a few trailers and so forth), but the Tenchi Encyclopedia is cool(with info about the characters, organizations(like the Galaxy Police),etc.). Although Pioneer said it is for 16 up, the movie is suitable for 13up. Anyway, this movie is good for a Tenchi and/or anime fan.

Summary: It's okay.
Review: It's a good movie. Not the greatest, but I like it. In my opinion there's not enough drama. I mean, how would you and you're family act if suddeny a teenage girl showed up and claimed to be you're daughter? But there are at least three other dramatic scenes in the movie. The story line's good and it's funny. It's about this demon/person thing who wants to get Revenge on Tenchi's Grandfather, and sends a great granddaughter to do the job for her. All in all it's an okay movie.

Summary: It could only happen to Tenchi
Review: This is an excellent Tenchi movie to watch. From what I got of it, there are really no major tie-ins to any of the Tenchi series or the other two movies. The story starts with an always adamant Tenchi discovering a startling fact that causes controvery within the Masaki household. It would appear he has a daughter! Oh no or maybe oh yes! If this girl is in fact Tenchi's daughter then, who could the mother possibly be? Is this girl from the future? Is she good or evil? Will Washu produce evidence that the DNA of this girl matches that of one of the girls in the Masaki household? Hopfully I'm building your suspense! Regardless, watch this dvd and follow Tenchi along with his gang of alien girlfriends while they try to unravel the mystery of who or what this girl is who could potentially be his daughter?!

Summary: Another good Tenchi title
Review: The single most annoying thing about the Tenchi movies, they are either awful (Tenchi forever) or toss continuity out the window (case in point Daughter of Darkness). Daughter seems to link itself more to the OAV series, but only loosely (including Kiyone, who doesn't belong, and changing the lighthawk wings into the lighthawk sword). Still it's a pretty good movie despite that.

Summary: Loved it but too short
Review: I loved the new character Mayuka she was a breathe of fresh air giving Royko something else to be jealous of other than Ayeka. The problem is the film was only 60 minutes long which is extremly short even for a tenchi movie ai the other two were 95 minutes long. It is also rather confusing how the first and third tenchi movie have obvious ties to the universe series and yet this one is definately more tied to the OVA. Sasami makes mention of the fact that when she grows up she will be like Tsunami. Some people might say well what about Kiyone, well truth is she was introduced in the Miohshi special which for whatever reason never made it to the DVD. Also when tenchi transforms into his Juri warrior aspect that is similar to the OVA not the universe. I really hope this means that my new favorite character will make her apperance when they finish the OVA. Rumor has it that the work is still in progress.
