Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The Turtles Kick Some Shell
Review: In vol. 7 of the new Ninja Turtles series, the Turtles regroup before returning to New York to confront their arch-nemesis the Shredder. The first episode on this disc, "The Monster Hunter", is kind of a dud, even if it does feature some very nice character moments between Raphael and Leonardo as Leonardo struggles to forge new kitana swords.

However, the other three episodes that make up the "Return to New York" arc are some of the best episodes of the series so far. Lots of action and shocking moments, including clones, mystic warriors, and a revitalized Baxter Stockman in a huge robo-suit. Add the shocking confrontation between Leonardo and the Shredder, and you'll know why the new TMNT is one of the best animated shows currently on TV.

The disc holds four episodes, a step up from Funi's usual meager three. The extras are non-existant, but the quality of these episodes makes this a disc worth picking up for all TMNT fans. Highly recommended.
