Summary: Awesome Vid!
Review: I have watched DBZ for about 2 years and when I saw this sitting on the shelf, I knew it had to be mine. I bought it, took it home, and slipped it in my VCR. I was blown away by the complete story of what happened to Trunks. Even though the dubbing looked odd at times, the movie was great altogether. I personally loved it, as did all my friends who watched it with me ( It was my 5th time to watch through it.) An overall great movie, it is definatly worth the money.

Summary: Immature, unrealistic, violent, bloody, eeeeew.
Review: Why do you suppose I don't have any business watching TV? Because there's too much in the way of violence promotion. This overrated garbage is no exception. I really tried to enjoy it, but the violent scenes in which Goku is getting savagely beat up by Vegeta are wicked and at times bloody. No wonder it's become so popular in America! Pokémon isn't that violent, but who wants to spend even a half-hour of her time watching stuff that only feeds the eyes and not the brain?

Summary: Nearly A Bloody End For Yamcha!
Review: HI EVERYBODY.

I bought this DVD and when I went shopping in Australia I saw Androids:Invasion. It was rated M medium level violence. Uncut Version. I picked it up and what a DVD it was.

The Androids Appear:

Yajarobi comes to bring the gang some senzu beans. When he flies back in his air craft, the androids appear and blow up the craft and fly to the town below. The Z warriors follow and Gohan rescues Yajorobi. Yamcha finds Android #19 (the overweight baby) and Android #20 (an old man ((dr Gero)))and #20 with a red ball in his hand puts his hand around yamcha's mouth and starts draining his energy. #20 decides he's weak enough and puts his hand through his stomach. A Handy Trick: Fire is everywhere and still there is more energy to be drained from Yamcha! As tons of blood make a pool on the sidewalk Goku and the others find him. #20 throws Yamcha on the ground and Goku orders Krillan to give Yamcha a senzu bean. Krillan looks at yamcha's dead eyes and flies off. The Androids and goku's gang fly off to an island somewhere and goku turns Super Saiyan. Double Trouble For Goku: Goku has the fight against #19 under control until Goku gets desperate and shoots a beam. #19 absorbs the beam and is as strong as ever. Goku starts to get the virus and collapes. Then Vegeta arrives and turns Super Saiyan! Upgrade To Super Saiyan: Vegeta turns super saiyan and destroys #19 with minimal effort. Vegeta shoots a beam at #20 but #20 absorbs it and Vegeta says the F word continuesly. #20 runs away to his laboritory. Well those are the 4 episodes. so I geuss it's bon jor Mon Ami.

Summary: Two, too tough teenage androids
Review: After all the flashbacks from the Cell saga of Dragonball Z, we finally get the clear picture. In this tape, we see the two androids commit random acts of desruction as well as acting like normal teenagers (scary, isn't it). However, Trunks and Gohan are prepared to stop it. They put up a fair fight, but Gohan doesn't quite make it. THe androids in this tape are actualy more violent then they are in the TV series. One thing I didn't quite like was the fact that they don't really show how the rest of the Z fighters were killed off, yet they included scenes of it in the DBZ series. Also, for the music, its above average for FUNimation, but for anime purists, it is sure to anger them. Especially those who disliked the remade music of Tekken. All those are happy with FUNimation's music score are encouraged to buy this tape. As for anime purists, the DVD might fit the bill for them (if not the price).

Summary: More blood, more battles, and more surprises !
Review: Once again I stopped by at one of my favorite stores to find "Dragonball Z-The History of Trunks", and I thought my luck ran out when I didn't find any, until finally I went to the last store and I saw a DVD version of the movie. I didn't buy the VHS version, instead I bought the DVD version. It's way better ! And so is this movie. Although I did love the action in "Dragonball Z-Bardock, The Father of Goku", The History of Trunks is way better and more twisted. This movie is about a dark and twisted future with no hope of survival for humanity. Krillin, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, Tien, and Piccolo lost their lives against two killer Androids. Goku is dead in result of a heart virus. Only two fighters remain, a 13 year old boy named Trunks, and Gohan, the only son of Goku. These two young fighters are determined to put an end to these vicious monsters once and for all. But they didn't have enough power. Even Gohan, the only boy who surpasses his father's powers, was killed in battle with the Androids. Now it's up to Trunks to save the world by doing one thing...travel trough time ! His mission, to give Goku then antitdote, warn others about the Androids, and change the course of time ! Sounds intresting, huh ? Well it is ! This is one of the best DBZ movies that surpasses the action of the three early DBZ movies. To all DBZ fans, go get it ! It's definently worth it !

Summary: History of Trunks
Review: two sentences can pretty much sum this movie up: if you're a subbie, you'll hate it. if you're a dubbie, you'll probably like it a lot. I ususally watch DBZ on cartoon network, so i'm used to the funimation screw ups and can almost accept them as normal. i didn't particularly enjoy the music, but i really liked the story and i think they did a pretty good job with not making the video too cheesy. i will tell you that the japanese DBZ is really good, and anyone who hasn't seen any of it really should try to get a hold of some. i haven't seen much, but i did see the movies about Brolly the legendary ssj, and androids 13 - 15, and the japanese episode where gohan transforms into a ssj2.
