Rating: Summary: holy macorale!!! Review: this show is a lot like queens of the stone age, the first time you see the show, you're in either group a or b. group A goes, holy macorale, this show is awesome, and after the first show is a watcher for life. group b goes what the hell is this, and turns it off. now if group b watches it some more, they will learn to like it, then sooner or later wont be able to be torn from the tv when athf is on. if you give this show a chance, i bet you will like it... love it. this show is awesome, it's random, it's experamental, its loveable. get it, watch it, love it. i have nothing else to say, except buy the damn thing already, it rocks!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Look at him, and tell me there's a god! Review: You must buy this. You. Must.
Rating: Summary: More of the same from me. Great Show. Review: Funnier than South Park, but without all the bad words. It's definitely got more bad words than the Simpsons, Futurama, or Family Guy, but it doesn't rely on shock humor like a lot of shows out there. It feeds mostly off of putting characters in precarious situations, usually brought on by Shake, my hero, and runs with it to perfection. If you like Family Guy or thought Cartman beating the other SP kid with a whiffle ball bat cause he couldn't afford a real bat was funny, you might not be able to handle ATHF.
Rating: Summary: Beyond Awesome Review: Buy this now. Just do it. You'll thank me later.
Rating: Summary: It was worth the wait!!! Review: ATHF is a great, and well thought out DVD. Its packed with some of the funniest ATHF I have seen. The picture quality is very, very good. Better than most of your DVD's out there today. If you haven't seen ATHF then I highly suggest you watch the show! It is like a combination of Simpsons, mixed with a little Famliy Guy, plus ATHF's own humor! The only complaint I have is that I am ready for a season 2 right now!!! This DVD hads been a long time coming like a blessing!!! Go and buy it. Trust me its worth it!!! Aqua Teen Hunger Force... assemble!!! Episodes Disc 1 Rabbot-The ground breaking beginning first show! Escape from Leprechaupolis-Master Shake at his best! Bus of The Undead-very very funny! Mooninites-pretty funny! Ballonenstein-Master Shake takes home the funny award! Space Conflict from Beyond Pluto-Awesome episode! Ol' Drippy-Really Good! Rabbot (The Original Cut)-A very, very early productioned episode! Commentary on Rabbot (The Original Cut) Space Conflict from Beyond Pluto, and Mayhem of The Mooninites Disc 2 Revenge of the Mooninites-They're back! MC P. Pants-Side splitting! Circus Dumber Days Love Mummy Dumber Dolls Interfection Bad Replicant PDA Didn't get to watch the last 7 episodes but seen them on tv before, they are funny on tv, so I know the dvd is even funnier!!!
Rating: Summary: The Highlander was a documentary... Review: Absolutely brilliant. Completely irreverent. Positively absurd. When talking mutant food items begin wreaking havoc in the suburbs, hilarity ensues. Witty, intelligent, up-to-date and utterly ridiculous, this series will keep you in stitches over and over again. I do wish however there were more episodes with commentary or extra features. The original cut of "Rabbot" is nothing more than the original storyboards, which is nonetheless interesting, but not that exciting.
Rating: Summary: Wait a friggin' minute here... Review: I gave this review before I had fully watched the DVD, but now I realize that it is missing to key episodes of the second season ("Mail Order Bride" and "The Cyebrnetic Ghost of Christmas Past From The Future") and let me tell you I was angry. It features Glenn Danzig of Misfits fame buying Carl's house and a sprinkler that shoots out elephant blood. Since this is the case I am officially taking off the fifth star, I just hope these two episodes are on Volume 2, which already has 23 Third Season episodes. Anyway here is my original review. Finally an Aqua Teen Hunger force DVD collection, let me tell you, 15 minutes a week is not near enough Aqua Teen action for my needs. I don't have one complaint about this DVD because all the episodes of the first two seasons (Nope, I lied) are on there and all with great quality. The special features aren't bad either. It's only been a day since this came out, but I cannot wait for Volume two, being as I have only seen a few season three episodes. Once again, this is a great dvd, but it's not for everybody, only hardcore ATHF fans will love it and that's a good thing.
Rating: Summary: Buy it for Carl. Review: Aquateen Hungerforce:beyond reasonable description. I'll try however: Master Shake: A pistachio shake with a lisp and a even bigger attitude. Selfish, mean, and hates MeatWad.Meatwad: A uncooked ball of meat, child-like, endearing, and loves to dance to his JamBox. Plus the power to shape his meat into anything (yes you heard me), usually a hotdog or a igloo.Frylock: Potatoes. With power. Frylock is the brains of the group, with eyebeams that can blow stuff up, real good. A computer genius, usually cleans up Master Shake's messes. Carl:Aquateen's neighbor from New Jersey, always wears stretch sweat pants, a white tanktop and the obligatory gold. Usually gets his property destroyed or gets killed by something Master Shake did.Typical episode:Meatwad plays the new song by McPee-pants endlessly, and subliminal messages are asking to bring McPee-pants stuff. Turns out McPee -Pants is a evil----(well, you'll just have to watch!
Rating: Summary: Perfect... Almost Review: First off, I have to agree with everyone here that this is an amzing work of animation. If you like King of the Hill, the Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, and South Park, then you will love this as much, if not more. Instead of droning on and on about how good it is I would like to point out the biggest disappointment of the DVD. If you're anything like me, you enjoy the commentaries very much. Matt Groening and many others did commentaries on every Simpsons and Futurama DVD that has been released. Unfortunately, We get three lousy commentaries here from the creators. They spend more time watching the show along with you than explaining anything. In another they play a long, crappy song, except however for the BAD ASS GUITAR SOLO supposedly done by Dave Willis. Overlooking that fact, I must say the DVD is still a must have as will be the much anticipated future volumes.
Rating: Summary: I want candy, bubblegum and taffy. Review: Quite possibly one of the greatest shows on television gets an amazing set of DVD's. Well worth the wait. GO and BUY this now. The hilarity awaits you.
