Review: Only wish there were more Wallace and Gromit episodes!
It's wonderful to have them altogether on one DVD. My children love watching these episodes over and over as much as I did when I was younger.

Review: Several years ago (before we had children) we bought these videos individually for about this price per video. My husband and I both love all three of them. We recently broke them out again for our near three year old. He looooves them. They are a perfect length of time for him and they are so clever. I only wish Wallace and Grommit would have some more adventures!

Review: All 3 short stories on this video are hilarious good times. It's the one video in our library that I actually enjoy watching over and over again with my nearly 4-year-old daughter. I only wish there were more Wallace and Gromit DVDs to buy. I'd own them all.

Review: Gotta love British humor and verbage , especially if you're not from there. "Close Shave" by itself makes this DVD 5 stars .. it is a great story, and marvelous when you consider that it is supposed to be claymation.

Summary: Walace And Gromitt Rule
Review: What can you say about a guy whose films keep getting nominated for Oscars (and often win)? Nick Park is a cinematic genius and this collection of shorts really shows his talent.Wallace is a gentle soul with a very intelligent dog (Gromit). Together they somehow do the impossible by both playing the straight man (and it works!). In A Grand Day Out, it is a bank holiday and Wallace discovers that they are all out of cheese (sort of like you or me finding out we are out of air). But isn't the Moon made out of cheese? Wallace and Gromit build a spaceship in their Frankenstein-Castle style basement and set off for a snack. In The Wrong Trousers money is a little short and the pair must take in a boarder; a penguin. One reason money is short is that Wallace bought Gromit some Techno-Trousers for his birthday. These are ex-NASA programable robotic pants. But all is not as it seems with the boarder. This one has one of the greatest train-chases on film. In A Close Shave we meet a second character with a voice, a yarn-shop owner who seems a perfect match for Wallace. But why does she have so much yarn during a wool shortage? Nick Park has a knack for knowing what makes great movie scenes work. He then weaves these scenes together with Wallace and Gromit and the results are pure gold. These three films are accompanied by a bunch of behind the scenes footage that really makes you appreciate how talented the whole crew is. A great collection for viewers of most ages.

Summary: Mind-boggling attention to detail
Review: If your experience with stop-motion animation consists of Ray Harryhausen films or Rudolph's Christmas specials, you are in for a surprise.
Prior to the feature length Chicken Run, Nick Park and crew dazzled viewers with Wallace and Gromit. Absolutely incredible attention to detail gives Wallace the inventor and Gromit, his faithful dog, the full range of emotion.
Well-crafted stories put the two in various adventures that are thrilling and funny in a way that children and adults can enjoy. Excellent!

Summary: One of my favorites
Review: I love this video so much I had to upgrade it to DVD when I got a DVD player. Every time someone comes over I make sure they've seen it, or else that's added to the list of things to do! My favorite one is "The WRONG Trousers" - it's so funny and cute. I like the other two a great deal as well, and will often pull this out when there's nothing on TV.

Summary: What they can do with a little clay!
Review: These are such amazing little films! They're completely suitable for any age. Adults will get a different kick out of them, but the ridiculous situations will amuse children too. (I've developed a taste for trying different cheeses since I saw "Big Day Out".)

Review: Wallace & Gromit provides sidesplitting humor with excellent artisitic presentation. "The Wrong Trousers" is an exceptional display of workmanship and comedic writing. You'll fall on the floor laughing when you observe the sophisticated antics of Gromit and a particular peguin/chicken!

Summary: My kids have a sudden craving for cheese!
Review: My boys (ages 2 and 5) love Wallace and Gromit. Some of the images are a bit frightening for the younger one, but in a way that seems to challenge and stimulate his imagination. My point is that Wallace and Gromit isn't isn't dumbed down simply to anesthetize my kids and make them buy toys -- although they do seem more interested in cheese after watching....
