Review: I just happened upon this on the movie channel one tuesday night & couldn't turn the channel. very good suspense..(i mean not like SCARY suspense, but suspense in the terms of , one wanted to know what was gonna happen next). Great forethought by the writer. Kudos!!:-)
3 stars b/c to me Training Day is a 5 & so is the Thomas Crowne affair, i'd say this is not at that level, but still very entertaining & I'd recommend it to others to check out!

Review: i really liked the end, i liked the movie. i just loved mekhi phifer. i think he could make any role interesting, but the subtitles drove me crazy!!!! but the first time i saw it was on vhs and i dont think it had subtitles but the dvd does. Please, make subtitles optional!!its hard to concentrate on a movie when they are there. over all i really like the movie. i thought the idea of it was good and the end had alot of twists. i wouldve given it 5 stars if not for those damn subtitles. i would say rent it first. i really like it, but its the type of movie you either love or hate, so before you invest the money to buy it rent it first.just incase you think its cheesy then you only spent $1 instead of $20 i rented it then i bought it. i can see how some reviewers could call it cheesy and you might agree wiith them but i liked it.

Review: I saw this on a recommendation of a friend, and I went to Blockbusters to check it out. Pretty good storyline (a little over the top), good cast, enough to keep you interested. I did like the ending. This movies is good to watch with your girls on a really boring day, or with your honey. Get this and another "bad trashy movie" --Trois 2: Pandoras' Box.

Review: I was flipping channels at 11:30 pm and caught this movie. At first, I started watching because I saw Mekhi Pfifer, but then I stayed up to watch it because it was good. The plot twists and the love scenes were exciting. Wait for the kitchen counter heat... I really enjoyed it and I think that you will too!

Review: I'd say that this was a so-so film. It kept my interest from beginning to end (not that I had anything better to do), but I thought there were perhaps one too many twists towards the end, and a few plotholes. (Was Tammy in on the plan concerning Silk, or did Howard recruit him on his own?) Rent it or watch it on TV, don't spend a lot of cash.

Review: I've seen this movie 4 times in the last few weeks. I really enjoy seeing Black people on film. I loved the movie, the story line, the characters. Sure the acting may have "appeared" to be a little weak in some areas (e.g. Howie), but he was playing a part. It had all the elements (cheating, lying, loving, violence, suspense, twists). It is a good flick. I've recommended it to ALL my friends. It was like Basic Instinct, Fatal Attraction, and Soul Food (beautiful people) all rolled into one. You have to see it from the very beginning and you much watch til the very end. If you miss the very end, you'll be disappointed and rate it a B flick. If you miss the beginning, you won't enjoy the end as much.
