Summary: I WAS VERY HAPPY WHEN I BROUGHT THIS
Review: I brought the double version friday and nextfriday on the 1 disc and i brought it from where i lived, ive seen next friday but not the 1st one and i was hoping that friday was as funny as next friday.Well when i watched it i was far from dissapointed.This a great funny movie!No doubt you will watch this over and over.My dad even liked this movie!All up this is very entertaining, Tucker is hilarious and ice cube puts on a great performance!
Everyone who enjoys these 2 legends should get this!
There are scenes that will leave you gasping for air.
And no you dont have to be a RAP fan to enjoy this! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Review: Ice Cube, Chris Tucker, and Tiny work to make this movie great, and they hit it big. Just a day in the hood for Craig, that just starts off bad, and goes to worse. Fired on his day off, now he has Friday to do his thing, or have things done to him. Great fun the entire way through, and leaves you wanting more. And you are in luck, because they made a sequal minus Tucker.

Review: Please don't pay any attention to critics like Maltin who call this movie "plotless". He clearly misses the point. Ice Cube said that he wanted to show the fun side of the hood in this movie, and he succeeded. Every scene is full of laughs and memorable characters. This movie put Chris Tucker on the map before his 20 million dollar Rush Hour 2 salary, and he is downright hilarious. In Boyz in the Hood, Cube proved he could tell a story about life in South Central L.A., in Friday he shows his versatility and makes us laugh in the same setting. Very good movie.

Review: This has got to be one of the best comedies out there. It's mainly aimed towards people 28 and younger, but if your in the in-crowd then you'll be laughing your @ss off. The only drawback about the movie is that it ends too soon. This movie has been out for quite a while but it never gets old regardless of how many times you watch it. Chris Tucker plays one of his funniest roles ever as smokey the neighborhood weed head. You have to buy this movie, your collection should not be complete without this classic. Oh and one more thing previous reviewer Omar is wrong it's not Ice-T it's Ice Cube as Craig.

Review: Firday is my favorite movies of all time! Friday features Chris Tucker known as "Smokey" and Ice Cube known as "Craig". The movie takes place in front of Craig's house while Smokey smokes his ganja all day...In front of someons house all day, sounds stupid? Well then you must have never been to Queens because thats where all the biggest ganja smokers are at. This is the funniest movie of all times. A MUST BUY!!!

Review: I really wish that there were more movies like this. But, I guess funny buddy comedies went out when Rush Hour came out with the ACTION buddy flick. This movie is all about Craig (played by the funny Ice Cube), who the day before got fired from his job by (get this) getting caught on video stealing boxes. THe movie takes place in an entire day (FRIDAY!), where anything can happen. This is Chris Tucker's funniest roles that he has ever portrayed. This film is definitely not recommended for audiences younger than 10. This movie by far is way better than "Next Friday" which was not funny in so many ways. This movie is kind of like "Don't Be A Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood" in some ways, but it is funny and worth checking out. Buy this movie immediately!

Review: Friday is a funny movie about two clowns who spend the day together doing absolutely nothing and running from the infamous Deebo, the neighborhood bully. Catchy phrases and funny facial expressions is what make this movie funny. This is a excellent movie to watch with your friends (...). If you are tight in the rear end, take stereotypical situations too seriously or if you looking for some great plot to unfold, you may not enjoy the movie.

Summary: A Ghetto Classic
Review: The characters and events are so true to life. Even if you're not from the hood, you'll probably want to spend a day with Smokey and Craig (the main characters), to just experience their lifestyle and the people they interact with. Even if you don't choose to interact with some of the characters (Deebo and Big Worm). This is a ghetto classic in it's own right. Well written, well acted and laugh out loud funny. A must see flick.
