Summary: I actually SAW the movie
Review: ... All of the basic elements you've come to expect are here; loud music, lean bodies wrapped in tight clothing, big guns, lots of tattoos and lots of kung fu (why do vampires need kung fu, and where do they learn it? I don't picture them having the patience for 'wax on, wax off'). As usual, all those big guns tend to shoot a few holes in the plot, but if you suspend disbelief, as you always should when going to the movies, you'll like this just fine. Wesley Snipes has fun playing off of Ron Perlman's vampire antagonist, and the new super vampires look fantastic. They are all translucent skin, blue veins, pale contact lenses and mandibles straight out of Predator. Their scuttling abilities in particular presented some interesting visuals. The martial arts sequences elicited audible oohs and ahhs at the theatre I was at in Potomac Yards, and actual cheers as well. ...The usual stock plot gimmicks are trotted out at this point. ...So while it isn't as good as the ...[some other action movies], it was still an entertaining effort.

Summary: A Better Sequel ? Yes it's true !
Review: I saw this the day after it came out in the theater and was shocked. The Sequel is better than the first movie. The first was classic, but this movie has better effects, more money was spent on it, a better story, abd Blade kicked even more butt this time. Wardrobe, costumes, make-up, the villian ALL better.
Whistler still has the best lines in the movie, just like the first one. Without Whistler this wouldn't have been as good, and he steals the best lines in the whole movie. Go See It. I payed full price and don't regret it, it's scarier and more like the comic book than the first movie is. Go See It, it's a good movie.
More action, a better Blade,Wesley Snipes really does a great job and his character really seems to enjoy kicking butt and doing his thing, more so than in the first movie. Go See It.

Summary: Great action, but not for the faint hearted
Review: Blade 2 has some great fight scenes in it. Wesley Snipes is the only non asian martial artist who I can watch in a martial arts movie. Keanu ruined the Matrix. The fights in the film are very well done with just the right amount of special effects. The Blade series could go on forever an I can't wait for another film already. This film is very gory in some parts an the new breed of vampires in the film are disgusting. They make regular vampires look not so bad. The worst part of the film was the guy helping Blade that kept calling him B, that was very annoying. Also a lot of respect to the film makers for putting Donnie Yen in the movie, they just should have given him more to do. Overall this was a great film just very gory in some parts.

Summary: Maximum Fun with Blade II
Review: Blade II is AWESOME! Special effects and fighting scenes a major improvement over the first, however not as much storyline, but who cares with all this eye candy! Wesley Snipes is as impressive as ever and I was expecting major things from Donnie Yen after reading so much about his kick-ass talent, but he gets sucked dry just like all the rest and his talent was apparently not taken advantage of, he did do some great pointing though. The real break out performance is by bad guy Luke Goss as Nomak, at first it doesn't appear that he will worth the ticket price, but in the final scenes he almost steals the show from Wesley. Definately worth the ride!

Summary: Blade II Vamps the genre
Review: I was excited to see this movie. As a vampire movie enthusiast I was hoping to see more thrills and chills like I saw in the first Blade. I was not dissapointed with the stunts and the action of it. And there were certainly enough vampires in it.
When Blade encounters the Blood Pack (a team originally designed to hunt Blade himself down) he has already rescued his long time friend and father figure Whistler from the claws and teeth of the vampire community and introduced to us the younger "mad scientist of weaponry" version named "Scud".
The Blood Pack has come to Blade with a request. To help them track down the Reaper. The Reaper is feeding from Vampires and Humans turning them into a dark, twisted, and strong hunter. The leader, Nomack, is turning his victims into a creature like himself. The Reapers must feed every day or they weaken and can fall victim to dying.
There is hostility among the team toward the now ally Blade. You will see some familiar faces running with the Blood Pack that dishes out the cruel and sometimes strange timing of hostility which goes to show that Blade could not trust them from the begining. I was pleasantly pleased to see "Priest" among them. He played a role in the Antonio Bandaras flick "13th Warrior" as one of the Vikings in the group. You will see "Rienhardt" (Ron Perlman) and some other familiar faces in the team. "Chupa", "Snowman", "Verlaine", "Asad", "Lighthammer", and "Nyssa".
It was a shame that "Verlaine" met her untimely death in such a quick and pointless way and that some of plot twists turned everyone against each other (which DID make it interesting as well as a little dissapointing).
Overall this was a good movie. A little more to it than in the first one and a little more complication to the plot than in the first one as well. Sometimes the camera/characters seemed to move so quickly you could hardly see some of the stunts and action but there was some good walloping going on from the begining to the end of the film.
Call me crazy but I wasn't as pleased with this sequel as I'd hoped to be. It was a little too much of everything and left the plot a little too weak. Another love 'em and leave 'em female in the Pack left me feeling like this was a Batman flick where every sequel he gets a new chick (with no explanation of where the first one went). It was good and a well made and exciting Vampire movie but if I went back to see any movie this week I would plant more money down to go see Resident Evil again.

Summary: blade 2
Review: blade 2 is an excellent movie. alot of action, incredible special effects and a little bit of humor. my only gripe with the movie is that all the bad guys got killed. other than that, this is all i ask of a movie. i've heard some say blade 2 has no story. i would agree it's more focused more on action than story, but there was definatley a story being told here. if you like complete mayhem, watch this movie.

Summary: Blade II Is Even Better Than The Original!!!
Review: Blade II is better than the first Blade. ( which Blade I was one of my favorite movies of all-time)
This movie hits from all angles.
Non-stop action from start to finish.
You get your money's worth with this one.
Snipes plays the roll of Blade extremely well.
I loved all the great fighting scenes.
It was a great roller coaster ride.
I want to go on this ride again and again.
The reapers are great and the story was interesting and fun.
I recommend this movie to anyone who loves action, thrillers and horror.
This one is for people who love to watch a good entertaining movie.
Blade II is a must see and a must have on DVD once it is available.
Blade II is the best movie i've seen so far in the year 2002.

Summary: Not as good as the first, but what sequel is?
Review: I eagerly went to the first showing of the long-awaited sequel to "Blade." The Daywalker takes on a newer and more viscious strain of vampire using old enemies of the Vampire Nation as allies in this fight.
Kris Kristofferson returns as Whistler. That was not as ridiculous as such returns usually are. It actually kinda made sense.
The martial arts battles in the sequel actually live up to the reputation earned in Part I. Wesley Snipes gives a solid performance.
All in all, it's a good sequel...

Summary: Comedy & Action, It's All There!
Review: I like to watch vampire movies for some reason, and one thing I didn't like about the movie are the vampires. They seemed to be less deadly and fierce. I really liked the story with the introduction of the Reapers. They are very cool creatures and have a unique way of sucking blood. There are lots of action in this film and it is somewhat gory. Also, it has comedy and the two people who bring it out are Blade and Whistler. Some things I saw were funny were the wrestling moves used. Such as the suplex and elbow drop.

This movie is probably as good or even better than the first Blade. I recommend you watching it if you like action and slight comedy.

Summary: A disgrace to the first Blade
Review: Since I loved the first Blade, I thought that Blade 2 would be a good follow up. Boy, was I wrong! Despite what the media said, there seemed to be less gore in the sequel.

The storyline was completely stupid. Blade teams up with vampires to kill a new species of vampires who actually feed on vampires. Who wants to see Blade being friendly with vampires? Not me.

This sequel missed the original "cool" feeling that the first Blade had. There was a vampire nightclub scene, but it failed in comparison to the original Blade's "bloodbath" scene.

The majority of the film seemed to be in semi-darkness, which I found to be quite annoying. Other things that I found annoying in this movie were Blade's new chainsmoking sidekick, Blade's vampire buddies, and his predictable love for one of the vampire girls.

I just hope that Blade 3 will be more like the original Blade than this pitiful sequel.
