Summary: Without the beautiful scenery.....it's lousy.
Review: In Speed 2, a sequel of the original Speed, Annie (Sandra Bullock) takes you to a cruise for another speed adventure. The first half of the movie is trashy. Here she got romantically involved with Jason Patric, another LAPD officer. And what happened to Keanu Reeves, her boyfriend of the first movie? Something is real missing here. This sequel should connect her previous romance which will make it better. Anyway, the movie picks up interest when the speeding cruise ship approaches an oil tanker and to a cliff and to a populated harbor. Despite of the annoying ship, the movie takes some shots of the beautiful Caribbean hospitality, otherwise, the movie is all trashy.

Summary: Wide screen letterbox format sucks!
Review: Had some pretty good special affects, but the acting and the story was very stupid.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: none
Review: i liked this movie but i wish keanu was in this movie and also wish that dennis hoopers carecter in the first one had i twin brother who was at for revenge on the ship that would make this movie better.

Summary: solid action is the only good thing about speed 2
Review: Every time I watch SPEED 2 I just can't get over the stupid dialogue. I mean I liked the movie but only because of it's action sequences and that would be the only reason I give the movie 3 stars out of five. In this one the supporting cast is full of fat women and many horrible actors and to be honest if I was the director of SPEED 2 I would just shoot them all. I must say I admire Jan De Bont and the way he directs his movies. I liked both SPEED and TWISTER but with this one he should of just stay away from.

Summary: Toenail painting vs. Stupid plot.
Review: Speed was good. This was not. Speed was believable. This was not. Opening with a pointless chase scene, Sandra takes on her usual role of annoying, and complains that she doesn't even know Jason Patric's "cop number." Solution? They go on a cruise. Surprise! There's a madman on board. Stop if you've seen this before. They never even bother to let you know why this Willem Dafoe hijacks the ship, they just want you to know he does. The movie could have ended pretty quickly, but lo and behold, there's a deaf girl on board who can't hear the warnings and get to a life boat. So, they're trapped on board and so are we. The movie drags on endlessly with outlandish failed escape attempts and little problems that pop up (namely running right into an oil tanker.) You think the crappy thing's over when the ship finally stops by crashing right into a little resort town by the coast (ugh!), but they still have more movie left! Enter Tuneman, the funny guy from the better Speed who now has his boat stolen rather than an incredibly expensive car. Dafoe dies at the end and everybody is happy. Personally, I'd rather watch somebody cleaning out a septic tank or retrieving a contact lens from the back of their eye, let alone toenail painting. An absolute waste.

Summary: Not that good at all
Review: I loved the first one, but hated this one. The plot was so predictable; Bullock didn't do anything. I did not not like the fact that Reeves was not in it. This sequal had nothing at all to do with the first one. It was like a whole different movie. The first one made sence with the bus and the bomb; when they couldn't go below 50 mph. But, I don't see how it works with a boat that can't stop. Plus, I loved Hopper's performance in the first one. He was the villin you love to hate. But, Defoe just acted like a some kind of crazy maniac. And seemed like he was hardly even trying. And Patric stunk. I highly recommend the FIRST one. But don't waste time and/or money on this on. It STINKS!!

Summary: Deserves the golden turkey award
Review: This movie is lame and insulting to your intellgence. The acting is poor, the plot is predictable and as for dialouge...well now that I think of it, there isn't any(except for old cliches and dumb jokes). .

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: SPEED 2 GOOD, BUT NOT AS GOOD AS THE ORIGINAL.
Review: SPEED 2 I thought was great but I did'nt like the fact they replaced KEANU REEVES with JASON PATRIC he seems to be out of place to me also I thought WILLIAM DEFOE couldn't hold a candle to DENNIS HOPPER as the villian in this movie either. If you like the original SPEED you'll like SPEED 2. I mean SANDRA BULLOCK is still great and there's lot's of action but in my opinion because of a so-so script probably not as much.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: descusting, it's dumb compaired to Speed
Review: The replacement of Reeves made me mad. Sandra Bullock did nothing that she did in Speed 1. The first one was way better no question about that. I think whoever thaught that was good and thaught it deserved anything more than one star should compair it to the first one.
