Review: Alright, so the story may not be all that great. But the acting is really good for all those involved and the philosophies behind a lot of the story can be rewarding if learned and applied to your life. Not in Seagal's top 5 movies but surely worth at least one viewing. I treat myself to multiple viewings because Steven Seagal can be seen differently than before. Definately give it a chance!

Summary: A Steven Seagal movie with no martial arts
Review: Steven Segal really shows off his acting ability in this film that contains almost no martial arts, and therein lies the problem. Take away the fights and give ol' Steve a dialogue and you better kill him off in the fist five minutes (a la Executive Decision) if you want the movie to be a success. It is an enigma how one reviewer rated this a 5-star movie and went on to say how anyone who does not like this movie is shallow. Shallow? The script has all the depth of a 6th grader's imagination. Utter uttter garbage - and at the time it came out, ws one of the worst Segal films ever. Though he has no doubt outdone himself since.

THIS MAKES ''FIRE DOWN BELOW'' SEEM LIKE ''UNDER SIEGE''! STEVEN SEAGAL FANS WILL BE ULTIMATELY DISSAPOINTED BY THIS MOVIE. STEVEN SEAGAL SHOULD FIRST BEAT THE SCREENPLAY WRITER'S A** FOR GIVING HIM THE WORST MATERIAL OF HIS CAREER. AND SEAGAL SHOULD THEN BEAT THE DIRECTOR'S A** FOR RELEASING THIS EMBARRASING MOVIE. THIS MOVIE AIN'T EVEN WORTH RENTING! IT'S MOVIES LIKE THIS THAT CAN KILL A MOVIE STAR'S CAREER. PLEASE, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS MOVIE.
