Summary: AWESOME action, but NOT good dialog!!!
Review: I love the way the action sequences are repeated in slow motion so as to get every angle of the stunt. The dialog, at times, fell a little short of having any meaning to it. But with that said, NOT many movies DO have meaningful dialog, I didn't punish it for that either. Overall, this movie is very exciting and if you like action movies then...WHY DON'T YOU HAVE THIS ONE YET? It is action packed!!! NOT nearly as bad as others have said.

Summary: Very Cliche (2.5 Stars)
Review: [I was very torn between giving this movie 2 or 3 stars, so I decided on a 2.5 rating] This movie isn't as great as it was hyped up to be. Right after seeing it, I thought it was really good! But then once all the excitement died down, I realized that this movie pretty much stunk. It was very predictable. I mean, you know that Vin Diesel's character is going to save the world, and that he's going to get the girl. James Bond has nothing to worry about, since any of the Bond movies are better than this flick. It's worth a peak, but it's not a movie I would go out and buy. Sure it has a lot of action, but just action doesn't make a movie. The plot is unoriginal and not that exciting. I think I kind of forced myself to like this because the kids I saw it with thought it was "so tight" but actually it's not. So, if you're looking for a cheesy action movie, you've found it here! Not that highly recommended. ... Enjoy... well, maybe not...

Summary: Vin is a God
Review: Vin is a God. (Not the God but definitely a minor deity)

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Sorry, Vin -- I Still Love You!
Review: A little bit into this movie I was thinking: Okay, the problem is either that Vin was on some sort of tranquilizer during this movie, or Samuel L. Jackson is just such a good actor that anyone else on screen pales in comparison. In the end I decided both things were operating here.

Yet, once Vin woke up and started to get into the spy stuff, I perked up a bit. He came off pretty convincingly as a guy who wants to be James Bond but can't quite pull it off, i.e., the scene at lunch where Argento's cahracter ridicules the idea that he could be a spy. Funny stuff, and Vin looked honestly hurt, like a little kid who thought he was more of a grown-up than he is.

The rest is pretty silly, although the Russian bad guy is fairly interesting. As for Argento -- I guess the theme at that time was Euro-Trash who looks like she's coming down off a bad heroin fix. She's not even pretty, let alone a real actress. Leave her in Prague, Vin!

Toward the end Vin does have some good moments when he realizes that it's up to him to save the world and he gets this look on his face that clearly illustrates the enormity of the task and his self-doubt that he can pull it off. Don't get this movie because you like Bond or want a good story. Get it because you have a couple of hours to kill and you're in the mood to let your disbelief go on vacation to a Slavic country, or, like me, you would pay $ to watch Vin Diesel shave for two hours.

Summary: 2 thumbs down, I think it was.
Review: Okay. How can anyone actually give this movie even 3 stars? Diesel's arrogance may be a little amusing at the beginning--I actually thought it was going to be a comedy--but the bridge stunt was stupid. Stupid: trying to be big, bad and rebellious and only looking like a lot of bad influence on youngsters. The ending was the real fallout. It just kept going on and on. It should have ended a lot sooner...like right before Diesel slides down a stair railing on a silver platter. Come on! A movie can have action and still hold together! This one did not.

Summary: watch a test pattern instead
Review: I paid good money for this thing so i can say what i like. This movie is suppose to put bond movies to shame, mission:failure. It copies every thing from those movies and still bites the big one.I love pointless action and unbelievable stunts but these are plain stupid. The only reason to watch is asia argento and her tattoo mmmmmmmm.vin diesel cant save this junk.

Summary: Pure Action
Review: Vin Diesel (Fast and the Furious, Pitch Black and A Man Apart) plays a sports junkie in this modern day James Bond Action Movie. When I say that Vin Diesel and James bond have alot in common in this movie I mean it. First of all we have the Gadget guy, there are so many weopons in that movie that are off James Bond, we have the girls (which James Bond is most Famous for), then we have the chief played by Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction and Sephere)
This movie takes place when a group of terrorists called Anarchy 99 create a bomb called silent night, that is one of the most deadly bombs on the planet. It is up to Vin Diesel and his female sidekick to save the day.
Now If you enjoy James Bond movies then you will enjoy this movie. Parental Warning this movie contains a sex scene that is not that detailed and it runs for about 15 seconds and you just see this girl in her underwear dance on the bed then Vin Diesel come and slip her one. (Again just like James bond) then the action contains unrealistic stunts and non stop violence. I suggest this movie for any one over 12.

Summary: Vin Diesel, Action Star!!!
Review: To be perfectly honest, the only reason I originally watched this movie was solely because of Vin Diesel. After seeing him in "The Fast and the Furious," I was very interested in seeing him some more. Well, "XXX" didn't disappoint in terms of that man. However, the film did disappoint me in other areas. While the overall story was pretty good, the movie seemed to drag inbetween the action sequences. Sometimes I just wanted to move the film alone because the drab dialog was putting me to sleep.

I will say that the action sequences are on point and Diesel gives a pretty good performance as an action hero, something, I'm sure, he was destined to eventually become in the film industry.

I would suggest this film to fans of Vin Diesel and action fans. But be advised that the story will drag at times, but that's no worry since you can always fast-forward on the DVD!

Summary: waste your time elsewhere
Review: this is one of the worse movie I have ever seen, even worst than MI:2. The one star is just for the rare funny moments in Vin Diesel's acting. Asia Argento, please go home and make the laundry.

Summary: New age of secret agents
Review: XXX is the new age of 007. With Vin Diesel playing the secret agent Triple X. The movie starts out with Vin Diesel taking a car from some rich guy, and he hooks it up with cameras to his web site, and jumps off a bridge with it. Then after he gets away he shows up to a party. Out of no where, people start to come in threw the windows, and shot him with a green dart. He then wakes up in a training diner and he's not stupid, and shows that he knows what he can do. He then final gets in, and he's doing it because all he wants to do is get out... until the woman of Anarchy 99 (the bad guys) wants help. He tells her that he'll get her a pass to America. I hope that they make another XXX movie, and it be as good if not better then is one is. I would say this would be good for any Vin Diesel fans, Secret agent movie fans, or just about everyone.
