Review: I am the worlds biggest Vin Diesel fan. Huge man-crush on the guy. But let's get real. The movie was not that great. ... In one scene where Vin is speaking to his love interest in their first meeting, I cringed with the horrible dialogue. ACK!
You know what I wanted out this movie that I didn't get?
More Vin strut scenes. Slo-mo scenes where he doing something cool. That would have made up for the lack of dialogue and the cheesy plot. (When you see the end of this movie you will be saying to yourself, "Come on! Is that all you've got!")
Rent it, watch, but don't buy it. If you want to own some sweet Vindiesel movie --get Pitch Black.

Summary: XXX for Action & CCC for Plot
Review: Vin Diesel is the man and is on a roll. He rocked in "Fast & The Furious" and made "Pitch Black" & "Boiler Room" somewhat amusing. As for "XxX" the movie gets my double points on the awesome action stunts I have NEVER seen blew me away but the mediorce plot...aaahhh...ummm thats another story I'll over look.

Summary: head for the XXX-it
Review: I've only ever walked out of one movie, and this was it. I actually stayed for an hour, hoping it'd get better...but it actually got worse. The acting: bad, the stunts: bad, the plot: VERY bad. I wouldn't wish seeing this movie on my worst enemies (even thogh I have none). Save your money, send it to Sally Struthers or something.

Review: I thought that XXX was an awesome movie. I went with my sis and she didn't like it because she HATES action films. Unlike me I LOVE them they have ...well...action.I love Vin Diesel he is an awesome actor. I would definately recommend that you get out and see XXX!!!!!!!!!That is if you like action films!!

Review: I watched this from a projection booth window. The theatre was filled with young kids (10 to 17). This new "hero" is not worth two cents. He can't act and all he knows is violence and we wonder why animals eat their young. This movie serves NO purpose except to promote hate and violence and give our screwed-up youth more sick ideas. I really believe that this new Hollywood is filled with hate and is sending a really bad message to our future leaders of our country. There are plenty of stories that movies can be made about, but this one is pure trash. Bad acting, bad music score (if you can call it a music score) bad directing and the list goes on. And then we wonder why the United States kids are so violent. There is only one thing to blame,,,,,HOLLYWOOD!

Review: Ok, I think that Vin Diesel is like the hottest guy that I've seen in a long time, but I really liked the movie too. I'm usually not an action movie kind of person, and me going to the movies was a last minute thing, but I'm sooooo glad that I did. Like I said, I'm not an action movie buff, so I don't get the whole James Bond thing that everyone talks about, but I think that it was an awesome movie. The music fit it, and Diesel was a very good choice for the main actor, he fit it well. I think though, that if you want the whole effect, go to the theatre, or have a surround system in your house, cuz the noise is half of the movie.

Review: Xtremely Unoriginal, Xtremley Boring, Xtremely Bad Acting. After the first 5 minutes i wanted to leave. This movie was that bad. Vin Diesel is anything but inconspictuous, and could never be a believable spy. The Human Muscle would whisper and his bass drop would echo the entire missle silo before he even knew it.This was more like a comedy on spy movies.
This movie was flat out bad. Vin Diesel Cannot act, he is a disgrace to movies. Arnold Should beat his bald ass for stepping foot onto a set and trying to make a good action movie. So far his best role was in Saving Private Ryan. :)

Summary: Arnold Plus
Review: I'm a dyed in the wool Arnold fan. I grew up on Superman and Batman the series. I like to see the good guy win, even when common sense has to be suspended to make the story work. For an hour or two, I'm perfectly willing to believe that Arnold can wreak havoc on evil-doers even when he's been shot repeatedly, thrown out of airplanes, clubbed, and exploded. He's Arnold, okay? But not anymore. These days Arnold just can't seem to get the super-hero thing working. It's enough to break my heart. Then along comes Vin Diesel. I've been saved from the hum-drum and reasonable! Sure a shoulder launched missile would have saved him the the effort of outrunning an avalanche on a snowboard, but that has no style. Toss him out of a plane. He wants to try it again, just for the rush. This is the kind of superhero I'll pay to see over and over. I got no kick about Vin Diesel's acting. Maybe it could be better, but even if it was worse, I'd still be back for another dose next weekend. He's got style. He convices you that all the crazy stunts are perfectly in character. The dialog is weak? Who cares? The character is there, larger than life. That's the attraction for me. Vin Diesel comes across larger than life. This has been a lousy year for movies for me. I've been dissapointed, disgusted, and bored to tears. Lord of the Rings missed the point. Star Wars was little more than a retread. Collateral Damage was a bust. Reign of Fire was a pathetic attempt to capture the spirit of Mad Max. I'd given up. Then Vin Diesel comes along and renews my faith that at least once in a while, for a hour or so, Superman can still enforce justice, bash the baddies, and have a rockin' good time doing it. If you want literary depth and cinematic artistry, go with Shakespear. If you want a hero, Vin Diesel is a darn good starting place.

Summary: The Modern-Day James Bond, Just More Sporty
Review: "XXX" stars Vin Diesel as the " Bond" character with a slick attitude. The writers have put together a script that steals the crucial pieces of the 007 series. Diesel plays Xander "XXX" Cage, who is an extreme sports vigilante. In it's own way, "XXX" is just as gooDiesel is the big tough guy with a shaved head and tattoos. After he's caught for stealing a car and driving it off a bridge, all he has to say is, "It was only a corvette." Pretty soon he's hunted down by Augustus Gibbons(Jackson), an NSA secret agent with a deformed face. His role is more or less the same role as M, in the 007 series. Gibbons threatens to send Xander to jail, unless he goes to the Czech Republic to stop a crazy man who wants to demolish and take over the world. This man named Yorgi (Marton Csokas) is an officer for the bad side of the Czech Secret Service. He lives in the Prague Castle and apparently the film was shot in Prague so obviously the scenery is excellent. Director Rob Cohen and producer Neal H. Moritz, who also made "The Fast and the Furious", follow the 007 ways so carefully that you really think that you are watching a James Bond movie. (1) There is an evil man who wants to take over the world and will stop at nothing. (2) There is a love interest. (3) Xander has many cool gadgets and weapons. And (4) The last scene of the film is Xander with the girl in a bikini and is asked to take on another mission.
And he will definitely take on another assignment. Xander Cage is a new franchise and Vin Diesel, said he would be famous some day. Well he was definitely right. The special effects in the film are amazing. There are many explosions that appear through the film. Seeing Diesel run a car off a bridge blew me away. Diesel also snowboarding down a snowy cliff with an avalanche coming fast behind him was entertaining to watch.
The few love scenes between Xander and Yelena are ok, which only consist of one or two kisses because Xander has to save the world. The music is very upbeat and keeps you pumped for what's about to happen next. There are scenes when you think, is this unrealistic. But you seem to loose the feeling because it's Hollywood and that this movie is so damn cool. Is this movie a threat to the 007 movies? No. But I enjoyed it a little more than a James Bond movie because it is more of an extreme sports action film as opposed to just plain action. "XXX" is a great action flick, but all Vin Diesel has to work on is kissing.
