Summary: Predictable, stereotypical, in a word: Terrible
Review: The direction is crappy (very predictable). The acting was bad (except for Denzel Washington, who was brilliant as always). Annette Bening acted like she was a 19-year-old actress auditioning for the first time. Absolutely not convincing. Bruce Willis looked as if he doesn't know where he is or what's going on. It's a pity that the director of the gem Courage Under Fire would make a movie like this. Plus, he stereotyped Muslims and Arabs in those negative things. He didn't appear to do even simple research about Islam, because if he had, he would've known that adultery is a major sin in Islam.

Summary: An Intelligent And Gripping Thriller.
Review: "The Siege" is a smart, taut thriller that knows about it's subject. Sure, it's a little off in thinking that Arab terrorists could take New York hostage, or is it? Lots of the material here is based on fact. Look at the news recently, the embassy bombings in Africa and now the recent serial bombings in Russia. I'm sure many people of Arab decent (I myself though Colombian, have Arab blood in me) will be offended by "The Siege." But them attacking it is like me attacking "Scarface" because Latins are shown as gangsters. But this is the reality of things and of the world. "The Siege" knows what it's talking about and presents it with a thrilling plot, great action, and fantastic cinematography. It raises many issues and makes you think. Maybe it wouldn't have worked if Osama Bin-Ladin hadn't been saying from his secret base what he's been saying. "The Siege" is a rare thriller because it has all the elements of a great thriller. It also explores abuse of power and control and even paranoia. "The Siege" is an action-packed, thrilling experience.

Summary: Is this movie present the TRUTH ???
Review: After you see this movie .. You will ask yourself IS THIS MOVIE PRESENT THE TRUTH ??? ... Is it really that muslim should do that ?? .. I am muslim and I should tell anyone saw the movie that ISLAM proscribe killing human or childern or women except in WAR and self-defence ..

GOD Said in the Holy Quran 5:32 "if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our messengers with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land. "

Summary: I have watched this film several times
Review: I enjoyed this film very much. I especially liked Bruce Willis and Annette Bening in their parts. (I found the FBI agent Denzil Washington a bit difficult to swallow.) I like the way that the Muslim and Arab populations were simply treated as ordinary people for the most part. True there was an Arab/Muslim terrorist but what was Bruce Willis' character if not a terrorist? Just shows what some people will do to gain power.

Summary: Kinda Boring....Bruce what were you thinking!
Review: This movie could have had potential...but it did not take you anywhere. It left you feeling like you watched a bunch of action with no real plot or story. This movie was too simple...Terrorist....Threat.....Kill terrorists....Movie over. Denzel plays his part like you would expect(same part as any other movie he plays) and Bruce willis was horrible. Keanue Reeves acted better in Bill & Teds than Bruce did this movie!

Summary: What were the critics so afraid of?
Review: I was almost afraid to view this film because of all the accusations of Arab Bashing. I'm glad I overcame my reservations and watched it. This is most anything BUT an Arab Bashing movie. They are prtrayed as loyal American citizens that get put upon (along with everybody else) by a government who has created a monster that got out of control. It depicts quite well how easy it might be to lull ourselves into becoming a facist police state in the name of "protecting" the American way. True, the terrorist is Arab, but tens of thousands of Arabs end up paying for it. I doubt anyone, anywhere would find that a fair deal. This is a very well written story. The interplay between Washington and Bening is very good. If there is any problem with the film it might be the lesser realized role of Bruce Willis and the fact that it might be too slick. This is very well shot and edited. The look is too good. It might have faired better with a more "down and dirty" handling. It is, however, a well realized story and handled in a much more forthright fashion than some might have you believe.

Summary: Theres more action in a bag of JellyBabies
Review: What went wrong , well let me tell you , EVERYTHING yes thats correct . Bruce Willis has his worst part in a film ever even worse than in North . Denzel Washington puts no life into his character as is the same with Annete Bening . During this film i struggled to stay awake and was fidgeting the whole duration of the film . Sloppy directing and dull set pieces along with a terrible script . Talk about rubbing salt into the wound .

Summary: Simply Brilliant
Review: Are you looking for the typical Hollywood action film where you can switch your brain off? Stay away from this film. Instead if you like almost-real political and social plots, watch it: the 'what-if' questions this film raises make the audience think. And that's a very good result for a film.

Summary: The first movie to scare me in a long time.
Review: Although some people my say that this film is boring and slow, I think it shows how susceptible we are. This movie should be seen by all people who believe in the current system and people who believe that the military should be deployed to attack serious issues. The movie itself attacks serious issues. It shows how a country like America can be brought back to the dark ages and how you should be careful what you wish for, because you might just get it. The Acting by Bruce Willis is outstanding how he portrays a cold-blooded, power hungry general. This movie is aimed at people who have a attention span of more than 1 hour, if this is not you, then you probably will find this movie as boring and slow.

Summary: The World Serious
Review: This movie really needs a sense of humor. It presents a nightmarish scenario very realistically, but it's too grim and intense, while the characters weren't appealing enough to make me stay interested.
