Summary: Awesome movie
Review: This is a great movie. Bruce Willis is perfect for the role, and the terrorist dude did a good job too. Awesome plot, great action scenes... You're stupid if you don't like this. If you do like this, I recommend Death Wish III, with Charles Bronson. That is the only movie I've ever seen that's better than this one. More action and lots of other stuff. See both this one and Death Wish III, the two best movies ever.

Summary: An action fan's dream.
Review: If high voltage gunfights teamed with snappy one-liners and explosive action backed by a multi-million dollar production are your idea of a good action movie, then this one's your cup of tea. We all know the story...lone good guy versus tons of bad guys in a Los Angeles highrise, with only balls and banter at his side. Of course, this is the one that set the standard for just about any big hollywood block buster action flick for years to come, the only things that changed were the locations (witness Under Siege and the double threat of Die Hard sequels). I'm not particularly a fan of American action movies, but this one's just plain awesome. Alan Rickman, as Hans, is the best movie villain since Darth Vader.

Review: Brilliant video, by far the best die hard yet. One detective kills 12 terrorists. There are two hostages shot and 4 policemen wounded. This is a brilliant video and you should see it as soon as possible.

Review: Bruce Willis, machineguns, explosions, fire, Bruce Willis, broken glass, terrorists, helicopters, explosions, FBI, dead terrorists, explosions, people falling off a 30-something story skyscraper, and of course, more explosions! This movie has made me an eternal Bruce Willis fan! How much better can it get! Witty, action-packed, the whole thing is one long adrenaline rush! Best action movie ever! Eat your heart out, James Bond! Die Hard- WATCH IT! You won't regret it! Unless, of course, you like wishy-washy tearjerkers, in which case I hope I never meet you!

Summary: One of the most exciting movies ever!
Review: First, I was blown away at the quality of this movie. Very clear and smooth. The difference between the trailer and the actual movie is incredible! Second, the Dolby Surround in this movie is top notch! Die Hard is a "you are stupid if you don't buy this" movie.

Summary: Die Hard - Sheer Brilliance.
Review: One of the finest Action features ever made comes across very well on DVD. The Dolby surround on the CD I found to be excellent and enhanced the movie no end, and the DVD has some good extras too - the featurette was a good addition.

Summary: only 2 hostages shot!
Review: This film is about an off-duty cop that goes to Los Angeles to see his wife but ends up running around the building with 12 terrorists after him. John McLaine(Bruce Willis) does actually get shot but you don't really notice it. I think it is very weird that only two hostages are shot. There is alot of cursing in it. But there are some hillarious jokes in it.

Summary: Everyone should Die Hard
Review: At the end of the Eighties the action movie genre, which had flourished throughout the decade, began to stagnate. Cinema goers had seen enough explosions and gunfights cloned from the same formula made popular by Arnie and Sly. Both of these men were moving in the direction of comedy and action movies needed something new.. something fresh. In stepped John McTiernan and Bruce Willis with DIE HARD. Willis, most famous at the time for the comic T.V. Series 'Moonlighting', made a perfect ordinary-man-in-an-extraordinary-situation action hero. He was believeable as John McClane and not immune to being hurt. He blead and felt pain, a first for the genre. And yet his cool confident delivery of a great wisecracking, intelligent script made him all the cooler. But most credit should go to Director John McTiernan, king of the sophisticated action flick. He made action movies slick, smart and full of pace and wit while never letting up on the bullets, cars and bombs front. Special praise must go out to Alan Rickman too whose performance as chief baddie Hans is to this day one of cinemas finest, moving convincingly from cool, calm and collected to desperate and nervous, never once seeming anything less than utterly ruthless and calculating. Die Hard is a great movie for a number of reasons but adding three dimensions to the action genre is this films finest achievement and anyone who has not sampled its delights before now would be wise to get a copy as soon as possible. But don't see it on T.V. oh no, because it is never without significant and completely unnecessary extra editing for violence and language. Enjoy it on video or DVD if you can, see it in all its original splendor, it is arguably the greatest action film ever made. And then go see the sequels.. they rock too!

Summary: The perfect action film.
Review: What do you get if you mix Bruce Willis,a truck load of terrorists, and a top script? This. Put quite simply, this is the best action films ever made. Bruce Willis made the role of John Maclain his own, while Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber brought a whole new definition of evil to the cinema screen. The plot shines, and is,for once, original. The action comes thick and fast, and will keep you on the edge of your seat. One of my favourite scenes is the violent[duh] fight scene between Karl and Maclain, where they are bashing eachother to peices. Overall this is a excellent movie, and I highly reccomend it to anyone who hasn't seen it. Enjoy. P.A.B 10
