Summary: One Helluva Ride!!!!!
Review: Sure, the plot is so full of holes that you could run a freight train through 'em, but who cares? Once this roller coaster gets going, it doesn't stop for anything. Excellent performances from absolutely everyone, especially Cage, Harris, and of course, Connery. Highly entertaining, even if this is the 500th time we've seen psychotic Marines destroying everything in sight.

Summary: Too flashy but fun.
Review: The Rock has been edited like it's been thrown into a food processor. This makes it very hard to watch and causes most of the action scenes to become a blur. But, having said that, the only bad thing about the movie, it's really quite fun and the music's good too. I reccomend that you buy the soundtrack. And, as always, Sean Connery is great, but he's still only the second most famous Sean from Edinburgh. (After me of course.)

Summary: CLASSIC!!!!!!!!
Review: This movie is for all of you out there who are tired of love stories invading the box offices nowadays. It keeps your heart pounding from start to finish, asking yourself questions like, "will Cage find the rockets?", "will Harris even launch one?", "will they set up an air strike?" etc. Even the most sensitive viewers will probably find themselves cheering Cage on as he blows the mercenary out the friggin' window with one of the rockets! YES!!!!

Summary: Best action movie of this century
Review: This is my all time favorite.First of all the 3 main characters are played by great actors. The story is also very interesting. You also feel some kind of sympathy for General Hummel(Ed Harris),the bad guy.You know he's actually a man with a cause and though he threatens the government to kill 80.000 people, you somehow feel that he won't do it,but you can never be sure. And one more thing is that the music is superb and adds even more excitement to a wonderful movie.Besides, there are great dialogs and the humor is not missing either. It's a must-see by all means.

Summary: Realistic and Amazing
Review: This film as I said is a very realistic one. This is because the commando sent to alcatraz seems to be heroic but in the middle of the film nearly all of them die. Only few of them survive [the main actors]. So it is not the same story that the AMERICAN heros win in an way without being hit from a bullet. On the other hand their are some exagerations .. when the F-16 destroy Alcatraz...the flying trum. But on the whole it is a good film with amazing screen shoots espacialy if you like war planes and a lot of explosions...give special attention to the trum in the begining of the film.

Nice Film REALY AMAZING !!! END

Summary: A great action movie
Review: This is the greatest action movie ever and DVD makes it absolutely amazing. Three of my favorite actors: Nicholas Cage, Sean Conner, and Ed Harris team up to make one darn good action flick! END

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Non-stop, high octane, slam bang action thriller...
Review: This movie is the single greatest action movie ever. IT packs high power stars (Cage, Connery, and Harris) along with a heart pumping soundtrack by Hans Zimmer and the gang, and tops it all off with the high voltage producers Bruckheimer and Simpson (Days of Thunder, Crimson Tide, Armageddon and Con Air [last two are Bruckheimer alone]). Micheal Bay brings his unque style of non stop camera movements seen in the 'Aaron Burr' milk commercial as well as Bad Boys and Armageddon. Be prepared for one hell of a blast. -Nate (natez@iname.com) END

Summary: Greatest Action Movie of All Time
Review: This is my favorite Action movie of all time. Connery is great as always. Cage plays a reluctant hero who really comes across as reluctant. You can tell he doesn't want the job he is forced in to. There is also sympathy for Ed Harris's character. I found myself hoping that he would succeed in getting his demands. Great action sequences, great dialog, Just GREAT!! END

Summary: One of the best action movies to emerge in the last decade
Review: The Rock was Director Michael Bay's second theatrical release following Bad Boys. Again as in "Bad Boys", Bay teams up with producer Jerry Bruckheimer to make one of the best action movies ever. The Rock stars Nicholas Cage, Ed Harris, and Sean Connery. Each of these actors are amzing in the movie...ESPECIALLY Ed Harris as General Francis Hummel. Like Bay's and generally all Bruckheimer's movies the action is superb, and Bay's directorial style is amazing..perfect for an action movie. The soundtrack combined with the action and Bay's trademark style makes this movie a winner, and The Rock is a movie that you will NEVER get tired of watching...A+ END
